LBI update

So those of you following along know that I picked up some underpriced LBI just a few days ago. I wanted to do an update post, mostly because it was such a successful trade, and also because this shows a complete cycle of how to work the hive-engine markets (which are valued in HIVE, not dollars).

So we can now see that the 'BUY' price has risen to 0.286, a nice three day increase over my original buy price of 0.15. Its not quite a double up, but a 90% increase in the face value in just 3 days is nothing to sneeze at.

Of course with liquidity so low, I can't expect to move out of the whole position in such a short time frame, but I'm not worried. This is how we roll!

Just so you can see, after buying a large chunk at 0.15, I also spent a few more hive to 'clean up' the order books through 0.195 swap.hive, there really wasn't much volume, as per usually. But with the market 'clean', I was able to list 100 tokens for 0.2889 and get them sold already!

I might list another 100 in the short term, again 90% increase is nothing to scoff at.

But there is a deeper play at work here. That is the upcoming pLEO and project blank airdrops.

I am hoping for LEO to rise in HIVE terms, giving us a nice multiplier as leverage in this trade, meaning the simple 'double up' is just the base, this trade could go higher yet.

There is some risk, risk that the LEO rises but HIVE also rises, or that LEO even falls. But it is a risk I am willing to take, this is a small speculative piece of the overall portfolio.

One thing I love about hive-engine, is that its a small enough market that I don't feel like I am competing with bots and super computers. I can make my real time analysis about promising projects, bid for them at undervaled prices and offer them to sell at overvalued prices. Its a cycle that almost every token project goes through, seemingly at least partially related to the price of HIVE moving up and down against USD.

I take this into account with my own INCOME token, and plan to do so as well with the ECOBANK token, by becoming a market maker on a project level. Traders are free to scalp or trade within my range, but the projects themselves manage a reasonable level of liquidity to get investors in and out without too much carnage.

For @ecobanker, there is already a good amount of value on the account that will be able to be used for this market liquidity purpose. This has come from me using @ecobanker as beneficiary on all/most of my posting activities.
