These new users join in a hope to be successful but when they see nobody supports them, they after some time quit in frustration.

Finally someone write down the honest truth. There are many people from the above mentioned group. Nowadays I have more than 1800 followers, but most of them are inactive nowadays. They left the platform long months, years ago. Nowadays I also see posts with plenty of upvotes, but no real human comments. This can be disappointing. Even if those are not my posts. I try to write meaningful comments under various posts, and I encourage everyone to do the same.

The root of this problem is the fact that most people focus on posting, and only a few people focus on commenting. This leads to a lot of ignored/overlooked posts, which leads to a lot of disappointed users. There are too much content creators, and too little content consumers.

I myself is around here like for more than four years

Me too. Since 2017.05.17. I have seen many people leaving. I also left a few times, but I always returned. I know. I am persistent and stubborn. And this is needed on this platform on some level.

Have a nice day and have a nice weekend.
All the best. Greetings and much love from Hungary.

Agree.
This is the problem with auto upvotes.

As we both know, when we started out it was difficult to get big payouts on our posts. I think some encouragement and constructive questions might keep the new people motivated to push themselves to do better. On the other hand, they have to learn that in order to do well they need to understand that they won't make a ton of money on their posts right out of the gate. When I started it didn't take me long to realize that even starting out slowly here with small payouts was way more than I ever got or will get on the centralized social media platforms.

I have only been here for about 11 months. I find that the more I engage with others the more support I get when publishing an article or video.
Too much emphasis is put on content creation. We really should be spending most of our time engaging with others and building an audience of fans or followers.
