HOW GOING BACK HOME AFTER SCHOOL WAS ONE OF THE BEST DECISIONS I EVER TOOK

What you are about to read has everything to do with the hidden treasure locked in family ties. It's simply the beauty of piety!

I wouldn't have imagined that leaving school would cease to be just exciting lapse of events and become a smooth journey into the valley of indecisions.

I remember yelling out to a dear one, that my issues basically didn't revolve around not knowing what to do, but not knowing what to do first.

Here I was, face to face with my greatest fear - INDECISION. Something I had lived and schooled intentionally for five years to avoid. Little did I know that while my accurate labours prepared me for OPTIONS, I wasn't ready for SPECIFICITY and what life beckoned for afterwards was Something and not Everything.

I remember how sleep slept (if you know what I mean) and every ounce of thought skimmer through options to prioritize. in deep realms of thoughts of what next to do right, that will never be regretted,

In that state, I could hear from the silence of my mind on a faithful night, "go back home".

Going back home was the last option, though not so appealing, I had this well strategized and rolling plan to do a couple of legitimate businesses and saw home as the "fire extinguisher" for this consuming passion.

At last it didn't count, I was going home. A simple decision I'm most grateful to God for. And for two reasons!

First, it provided me that holistic view of whatever consuming aspiration I had and believe me when I say one by one, I saw the futility of a bulk of them.

Second and most importantly revolves around family ties. That irreplaceable fellowship that does not regard your reputation. And if you have a younger sister like mine, raw truth won't be far from your two ears.😂

Home is a good to be if you have wonderful family like mine, full of Love and harmony, every moment we had lacks moments of regret, joy, peace and love all the way.

Every moment humbled me to my foundations. As I spent the bulk of my time asking my dad questions, I literally found out that "the silence of an old man doesn't depict inexperience". Men! I've been schooled! my family is a gift to me

The very things I call solid achievements are mere components of his history. I sometimes catch him faking the excitement when I passionately share my experiences and strides. A deliberate attempt to keep hope and optimism alive.

I hit a goldmine of wisdom and its definitely one of my most cherished moment life.

Life in itself is a moment but life also is a collection of moments. The beauty of life as a moment is tied to individuals moments. Individual moments like mine I just shared.

I know family has been overly labelled as a success barrier but that's not in itself completely true. Nothing beats filial love and fellowship.

I'd love to read your beautiful family experiences too in the comment section.

Cheers!

Hi @eddylight When we go through moments of indecision, the mind always goes back to where it feels safe. In your case, like many of us, it comes home. How nice.

It is important that the photos you use indicate where they are from, what their source is. If they are from your family album, you should indicate that as well. And preferably always try to make sure that these photos have not already been used on the web. You can edit your post and add that detail please.
