Today I bring some shots I took several weeks ago and I had pending to share with you. This is the outdoor area that forms the entrance to the Castillo de la Real Fuerza de la Habana, a military fortress, now converted into a museum, built in times of Spanish rule over Cuba.
In this area are located different types of cannons of the time and some sculptures of the Cuban plastic artist Alfredo Sosabravo, donated to the Office of the Historian of the City at that time Eusebio Leal Spengler, who died recently.
Sosabravo's three pieces are very interesting and creative, like most of his work. In particular, he is one of the Cuban plastic artists I most admire for his originality and singular pieces. Undoubtedly very attractive sculptures that give a very Cuban and warm welcome to the visitor. A small sample of our culture that is worth visiting. Guardianes de la historia

Hola amigos y amantes de la fotografía. Cómo siempre mis mejores deseos para los hivers de esta comunidad.
Hoy traigo unas tomas que hice hace varias semanas y que tenía pendiente compartir con ustedes. Se trata del área exterior que conforma la entrada al Castillo de la Real Fuerza de la Habana, fortaleza militar, hoy convertida en museo, construida en épocas del dominio español sobre Cuba.
En esta área se emplazan distintos tipos de cañones de la época y algunas esculturas del artista plástico cubano Alfredo Sosabravo, donadas a la Oficina del Historiador de la Ciudad en aquel entonces Eusebio Leal Spengler, fallecido en tiempo reciente.
De Sosabravo son tres piezas muy interesantes y creativas, como la mayoría de la obra de su obra. En particular es uno de los artistas plásticos cubanos que más admiro por su originalidad y singulares piezas. Sin dudas unas esculturas muy atractivas que le dan una muy cubana y calurosa bienvenida al visitante. Una pequeña muestra de nuestra cultura que vale la pena visitar.
