Hello, how are you my fellow creators? The previous tree I made was very popular among my family and friends, so now I have a kind of demand for this kind of ornaments. That's why, today, I bring a new recycling-oriented craft, but with some colorful additions that although they are not recycled materials, they add a lot of beauty. For today's work I will use techniques already described in this publication so I will not focus so much on them, but I will explain them anyway and show the step by step. Por eso, el día de hoy, traigo una nueva manualidad orientada al reciclaje, pero con algunos agregados coloridos que si bien no son materiales reciclados, aportan mucha belleza. Para el trabajo de hoy emplearé técnicas ya antes descritas en esta publicación así que no me centraré tanto en ellas, pero de todas formas las explicaré y mostraré el paso a paso. Step by step // Paso a paso

1️⃣ We will start with the flowers. The procedure to make the flowers is very simple and is explained in this publication, but I will explain it a little anyway. To make the flowers it is necessary to flatten a small ball of clay and place the pumpkin seeds around it with the pointed part inside.

Empezaremos por las flores. El procedimiento para hacer las flores es muy sencillo y está explicado en esta publicación, pero de todas formas lo explicaré un poco. Para hacer las flores es necesario aplanar una bolita de arcilla e ir colocándole alrededor las semillas de calabaza con la parte puntiaguda para adentro.

2️⃣ Two different flower designs will be used for this craft, but with the same principle. The small flowers will be two rows of seeds on top of each other, but the large flowers will be a single layer of seeds arranged in the pattern of fish scales.

Para esta manualidad se usarán dos diseños de flores distintos, pero con el mismo principio. Las flores pequeñas serán dos hileras de semillas una encima de otra, pero las grandes serán una sola capa de semillas colocadas siguiendo el patrón de las escamas de los peces.

3️⃣ Then we paint each of the flowers white. Next, we glue on the bottom of each flower a cone made with more seeds, which we will paint green.

Luego pintamos cada una de las flores de blanco. Seguidamente, pegamos en la parte de abajo de cada flor un cono hecho con más semillas, el cual pintaremos de verde.

4️⃣ Next, we will cut out a thin strip of yellow fomi. We will make small consecutive cuts in this strip and glue it in a spiral shape in the center of the flowers.

A continuación, recortaremos una tira fina de fomi amarillo. A esta tira le haremos pequeños cortes consecutivos y la pegaremos en forma de espiral en el centro de las flores.

5️⃣ For the leaves we will make an ascending pattern using pumpkin seeds and paint them green.

Para las hojas haremos un patrón ascendente utilizando semillas de calabaza y las pintaremos de verde.

6️⃣ Using hot silicone and floral tape, we will give the desired shape and texture to the tree branch, which will be the support for the flowers.

Haciendo uso de la silicona caliente y él tape floral daremos la forma y textura deseada a la rama de árbol, que será el soporte de las flores.

7️⃣ Then we will attach the yogurt container to a plastic ring to form the pot and paint it all black.

Luego uniremos el recipiente de yogur a una anilla plástica para conformar la maceta y lo pintaremos todo de negro.

8️⃣ Next, we will cut out a polystyrene circle, to which we will embed the stem of the tree. Then we introduce it into the yogurt container, but not before filling the empty space with sand. The sand adds weight to the base, guaranteeing more stability.

Seguidamente, recortaremos un círculo de poliespán, al cual le incrustaremos el tallo del árbol. Luego lo introducimos dentro del recipiente de yogur, no sin antes rellenar el espacio vacío con arena. La arena aporta peso a la base garantizando más estabilidad.

9️⃣ To finish we will join everything together. We will start with the flowers which we will place on the tips of the thickest branches. Then we will glue the leaves in the empty spaces of the stems and it will be ready.

Para finalizar lo uniremos todo. Empezaremos por las flores las cuales colocaremos en las puntas de las ramas más gruesas. Luego pegaremos las hojas en los espacios vacíos de los tallos y ya estaría listo.
