Greetings, my digital photographers and pixel lovers. It is a pleasure for me to bring you once again the best possible captures extracted from my travels through the plains of Kingdoms Amalur: Re-Reckoning. Today I bring you the second part of a series of missions in which I have had to do some tasks for my friends Agarth and Alin Shir. If for some reason you missed the first part, don't worry, because here I leave you Agarth's assignment, as today I will focus on Alin Shir's assignment.

Saludos, mis fotógrafos digitales y amantes de los píxeles. Para mí es un placer traerles nuevamente las mejores capturas posibles extraídas de mis viajes por los páramos de Kingdoms Amalur: Re-Reckoning.

El día de hoy les traigo la segunda parte de una serie de misiones en las cuales he tenido que hacer algunas tareas para mis amigos Agarth y Alin Shir. My journey continues from the city of the Templar Dwarves where I faced Octienne. From that city, I embark on my journey to the swampy Abandoned Plains where Alin Shir awaited me. As usual, the journey was quite eventful, as enemies constantly appeared on my way. Among these enemies, the Jottun stand out, both their warrior class and the shamans give quite a fight if you face several.

Mi viaje continúa desde la ciudad de los enanos templarios en donde enfrenté a Octienne. Desde esa ciudad emprendo mi viaje hasta las pantanosas Llanuras Abandonadas en donde me esperaba Alin Shir. Como ya es costumbre el viaje estuvo bastante movido, pues en mi camino aparecían constantemente enemigos.

Entre esos enemigos destacan los Jottun los cuales tanto su clase guerrera como los chamanes dan bastante pelea si te enfrentas a varios.

When I finally manage to arrive, I meet Alin Shir in a tavern in the village of Ayten. This friend tells me that there is a general named Tilera who has been trying for some time to enter a dungeon where there is an artifact that can help defeat Balor and his siege. She also tells me that I should help the general obtain the artifact, as according to the visions of the Fae king, this is part of my destiny.

Cuando por fin logro llegar me reúno con Alin Shir en una taberna de la aldea de Ayten. Esta amiga me cuenta que hay una general llamada Tilera la cual desde hace tiempo está tratando de entrar en una mazmorra donde cuentan que hay un artefacto que puede ayudar a acabar con Balor y su asedio. También me dice que debería ayudar a la general a obtener el artefacto, ya que según las visiones del rey fae este es parte de mi destino.

As I say goodbye to my friend, I embark on the journey to the general's camp, a place that was not even close. Along the way, I encounter some inconveniences, but they were nothing that prevented me from arriving.

Al despedirme de mi amiga emprendo el viaje hasta el campamento de la general, lugar el cual no estaba ni un poco cerca. Por el camino me encuentro con algunos inconvenientes, pero no eran nada que me impidiese llegar.

Finally, when I manage to meet the general Tilera, she points out the door I wanted to open and explains that the mechanism consists of five stone bells that needed to be activated, but unfortunately neither she nor her soldiers could do it. I communicate my willingness to help and she points me in the direction of the first bell to see if it was different with me.

Finalmente, cuando logro encontrarme con la general Tilera, me señala la puerta que quería abrir y me explica que el mecanismo consiste en cinco campanas de piedra que debían activarse, pero lamentablemente ni ella ni sus soldados pudieron hacerlo. Le comunico mi disposición a ayudar y me indica la dirección de la primera campana a ver si conmigo era diferente.

I activated the first bell without any problems, just as I eliminated the Niskaru that appeared. And to the astonishment of the general, the door moved a bit. Without having assimilated it, a map is handed to me with the location of the other bells that I had to activate to fully open the door.

Activé la primera campana sin ningún problema al igual que elimine al Niskaru que apareció. Y ante el asombro de la general la puerta se movió un poco. Sin haberlo asimilado se me entrega un mapa con la ubicación de las demás campanas las cuales debía de activar para abrir por completo la puerta.

Each bell summoned a greater number of enemies, which sometimes defeated more easily than others. In this way, I gained more experience and improved my combat skills and attributes.

Cada campana convocaba a un mayor número de enemigos, a los que a veces derrotaba con mayor facilidad que otras. De esta manera, obtenía más experiencia y mejoraba sus habilidades y atributos de combate.

It was not until the fifth and final campaign that a different enemy emerged. Apparently, it was a Niskaru, but this one was considerably larger and had magical combat abilities. To make matters worse, it was very resistant to damage and was not an opponent to face in a one-on-one battle, so I decided to enter a frenzy and eliminate it before it did the same to me.

No fue, sino hasta la quinta y última campaña que surgió un enemigo distinto. Al parecer, se trataba de un Niskaru, pero este era considerablemente más grande y tenía habilidades mágicas para el combate. Para colmo, era muy resistente al daño y no era un oponente para enfrentar en un combate uno a uno, así que decidí entrar en un frenesí y eliminarlo antes de que él lo hiciera conmigo.

With the bells activated and the enemies dead, I went straight to the camp of the general who was waiting for me in front of the open entrance of the dungeon.

When I entered the dungeon, I came across several enemies who tried to stop me. After facing some Niskarus coming out of the floor, I ventured further into the place. Looking around, I could see tunnels, passages, balconies, and other structures that gave the impression of being in an abandoned underground city.

Cuando ingresé a la mazmorra, me topé con varios enemigos que intentaron detenerme. Después de enfrentarme a algunos Niskarus que salían del piso, me adentré aún más en el lugar. After advancing, we finally reached the end of the dungeon and on top of an altar, we see the artifact which to my surprise was a huge golden spear. In an act of euphoria, the general jumps on the spear and asks me to face the enemies that were beginning to appear while she pulls out the spear.

Tras avanzar por fin llegamos al final de la mazmorra y encima de un altar vemos el artefacto que para mi sorpresa era una enorme lanza dorada. En un acto de euforia, la general salta encima de la lanza y me pide que mientras ella saca la lanza, yo enfrente a los enemigos que empezaban a aparecer.

When the combat was in my favor, Azaghaal made an appearance, a huge two-headed bloody nizkaru that, despite being very similar to the one I defeated in the fifth bell, was much more powerful.

With some luck, player skills, and a lot of button spamming, you can defeat it and finally see how, after almost 10 minutes, the general manages to pull out the spear.
