Hola amigos || Hello friends
Seguimos recordando aquellas caricaturas que forman parte de nuestra historia y es esta, otra oportunidad para recordar nuestra infancia y a lo mejor, desear nuevamente tener 8 años. En el post pasado conmemoramos algunas caricaturas y en esta oportunidad seguiremos retomando el valor de recordar. Soy un joven de 38 años que aun ama ver caricaturas. No sé si eso este mal, pero mientras mi corazón siga latiendo, me consideraré un viejo fan de estas producciones.
We continue remembering those cartoons that are part of our history and this is another opportunity to remember our childhood and maybe wish we were 8 years old again. In the last post we commemorated some cartoons and this time we will continue to remember the value of remembering. I am a 38 year old who still loves to watch cartoons. I don't know if that's wrong, but as long as my heart keeps beating, I will consider myself an old fan of these productions.
Sin duda los 90s fueron una época que seguramente muchos extrañamos. Es una época que me llena de nostalgia recordar. Y en consideración a las nuevas caricaturas de ahora, en aquella época, las mismas tenían tramas más serios y menos superficiales. Es inevitable recordar todo esto y no sentirse nostálgico. Definitivamente viví muchas buenas historias con mis personajes favoritos. Tanto que me sentía dentro de la serie, siendo un personaje más, un compañero más en cualquier batalla o aventura. Estaba dispuesto a seguir con ellos. Sí, recordar es sentirse vivo.
Undoubtedly the 90s were an era that many of us surely miss. It is an era that fills me with nostalgia to remember. And in consideration of the new cartoons of today, at that time, they had more serious and less superficial plots. It is inevitable to remember all this and not feel nostalgic. I definitely lived many good stories with my favorite characters. So much so that I felt inside the series, being one more character, one more companion in any battle or adventure. I was willing to continue with them. Yes, to remember is to feel alive.
En mi casa siempre hubo dos televisores. Uno en la sala y el otro se encontraba en el cuarto de mis padres. Y bueno, debo confesar que me gustaba más dejar el cuarto de mis padres todo un desorden jajaja… Los únicos momentos que veía televisor en la sala, eran los domingos. En esos momentos solo éramos mi hermana y yo. Y gracias a Dios nos llevábamos bien. Y más si veíamos juntos caricaturas. Sí, es correcto, esto no tiene nada que ver con el tema, pero me dejé llevar por la emoción y les conté este recuerdo de mi infancia ¡Emocionado!
In my house there were always two televisions. One in the living room and the other one was in my parents' room. And well, I must confess that I liked to leave my parents' room a mess hahaha... The only times I watched TV in the living room were on Sundays. At those times it was just me and my sister. And thank God we got along well. And even more so if we watched cartoons together. Yes, that's right, this has nothing to do with the topic, but I got carried away and I told you this memory of my childhood... Excited!

Recuerdan esos tres ratones que tuvieron que huir de su planeta natal martes aterrizando en la ciudad de chicago. Throttle, Modo, y Vinnie tres super amigos que comparten la emoción de subir en motocicletas. Estos héroes luchaban con sus fieles enemigos quienes querían acabar con todos los recursos de la Tierra. Esta caricatura la disfrute mucho con un primo mucho menor que yo. Solía llamar a la casa (recuerden que en esa época no existían los celulares o por lo menos no en Venezuela) jajaja… Y nos quedábamos horas hablando por teléfono sobre la misión del día. Eso no duró mucho tiempo dado que las facturas del teléfono eran costosas y mi tía le prohibió el uso del teléfono jajaja… Pero sí era muy buena caricatura.
Remember those three mice who had to flee their home planet Tuesday landing in the city of Chicago. Throttle, Modo, and Vinnie are three super friends who share the thrill of riding motorcycles. These heroes were fighting their faithful enemies who wanted to wipe out all of Earth's resources. I enjoyed this cartoon with a cousin much younger than me. I used to call home (remember that at that time there were no cell phones or at least not in Venezuela) hahaha... And we would stay on the phone for hours talking about the mission of the day. That didn't last long since the phone bills were expensive and my aunt forbade him to use the phone hahaha... But he was a very good caricature.
Ahora bien, les diré que esta fue una donde me sentía como un experto en artes marciales. Recuerdas esas pequeñas tortugas que fueron por accidente bañada en una fórmula que las convirtió en animales inteligentes. Sí, por supuesto que hablo de leonardo, Michelangelo, Rafael, Donatello, Las tortugas ninja. Hasta recuerdo un carnaval disfrazarme de Tortuga Ninja, un disfraz que casi dormía con el de pijama. Tenía que estar preparado para cualquier emergencia. La mente de un niño no tiene limites y la mía, volaba mucho más allá. Grandes batallas que luché con estos amigos frente de la pantalla del televisor. Aunque como les dije antes, me sentía dentro de la trama. Las originales tortugas ninja y su popular Cowabunga y su increíble amor por las pizzas.
Now, I will tell you that this was one where I felt like a martial arts expert. You remember those little turtles that were accidentally dipped in a formula that turned them into intelligent animals. Yes, of course I'm talking about Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raphael, Donatello, The Ninja Turtles. I even remember one carnival dressing up as a Ninja Turtle, a costume that almost slept with my pajamas. I had to be prepared for any emergency. A child's mind has no limits and mine flew far beyond. Great battles I fought with these friends in front of the TV screen. Although as I told you before, I felt inside the plot. The original ninja turtles and their popular Cowabunga and his incredible love for pizzas.

Había una caricatura que dejó una huella que aún sigue allí, en mi espíritu. Bravestarr cuenta la historia de un vaquero y su caballo mecánico quienes juntos luchan por defender Texas de las amenazas de los forajidos. Este paquero tenia la peculiaridad y es que fue entrenado por un maestro de espíritus quien le enseño como invocarlos y usar sus habilidades a su favor. Por ejemplo: recuerdo que cuando yo solía mover la cama gritaba ¨Fuerza de Oso¨ Jamás lo olvidaré… El usaba frases similares para usar el poder de ese espíritu. Otro que me sorprendía de esta serie era el gran amigo del vaquero. Su caballo 30-30 quien solía ponerse en dos panas y disparar, hablar, ser todo un personaje tan importante como su acompañante. Usaba mucho la habilidad del puma cuando me pedían agua y ya estaba todo apagado. O sea, era ir lo más rápido posible a la cocina y regresar… Ok, que emocionante… Sí, recordar es vivir.
There was a cartoon that left an imprint that is still there, in my spirit. Bravestarr tells the story of a cowboy and his mechanical horse who together fight to defend Texas from the threats of outlaws. This cowboy had the peculiarity that he was trained by a master of spirits who taught him how to summon them and use their abilities to his advantage. For example: I remember that when I used to move the bed he would shout "Bear Force" I will never forget it... He used similar phrases to use the power of that spirit. Another one that surprised me in this series was the cowboy's great friend. His horse 30-30 who used to stand on two legs and shoot, talk, be a character as important as his companion. I used to use the cougar's ability a lot when they asked me for water and everything was already turned off. I mean, it was to go as fast as possible to the kitchen and come back... Ok, how exciting... Yes, to remember is to live.

There are many more animated series that I would like to remember and for that reason, this will not be an end, but a goodbye. I was very happy to remember with you these cartoons that are part of history, of my history, of our history. And yes, I repeat, to remember is to live. So you know, don't be separated for too long from these parts

Bueno ya somos dos amigo, aunque soy un poco más joven que tú, pero también vengo de esa época, aunque nunca pude aprenderme el nombre de los motoratones, ahora ya me los se jaja.
-Recordar es vivir- eso sin duda es una realidad para nosotros que vivimos esos tiempos.
Así amigo mío. Una época difícil de olvidar. Muchos añoramos volver a ella, pero el tiempo sigue y no perdona. Pero nos quedan los recuerdos. Tan valiosos como una gran gema de oro. Gracias por la visita xD
