You can go to the top of the hill by a long flight of stairs or by a regular hiking trail. Chandranath Temple, located on top of Chandranath Hill, is the famous Shakti Peeth near Sitakunda, Bangladesh, where according to Hindu sacred texts, the right arm of Goddess Sati fell. Hindus visit the Chandranath Temple as a place of pilgrimage. It stands approximately 1,020 feet above sea level. As you climb higher, you will have a truly fantastic experience. At some point you will notice something white above, i.e. the sea. This experience will be etched in your heart for a very long time. Don't forget to take plenty of water and refreshments to help you conquer the long hilly route.
