Let's talk about Magi Of Chaos for the Share your Battle Weekly Challenge. I usually use this card with Obsidian especially on Back to Basics or Healed Out rule set, because he can replace Goblin Psychic with an extra attack power. His Oppress ability is very good to counter Failed Summoner, Baakjira, Pelacor Conjurer and Lord Arianthus (these are the monsters you will face more often in the 1st position).

General Strategy: since there were only two elements (Earth or Death) available, Thaddius was the best option, since it would neutralize Obsidian. In back to basics rule set I usually look for monsters with high HP to survive as much as possible and high damage, preferrably magic type to not waste a round hitting armor.

Cursed Windeku: although he would lose his Thorns and Heal ability, his 11 HP + 3 Damage is still very valuable!

Magi of Chaos and Magi Necrosi: this pair of monsters will hit very hard and with decent amount of HP!

Gem Meteor, Supply Runner and Dhampir Stalker: all of them has decent HP, Speed and attack power! I usually don't like to pick much ranged monsters in this rule set, because they will become idle when it reaches the 1st position.

Highlights/Destaques:

• Gladly my opponent picked Obsidian and was neutralized by Thaddius Brood.

• I think it was a mistake by my opponent to pick Grund due to his mana cost.

• Windeku did a great job absorbing the attack of all enemy monsters for an entire round.

• Speed had a big role to achieve victory, because some of the opponent's monsters died before they could attack.
