Someone actually got a legendary gold foil card from the daily quest in Splinterlands!

And its value? Over 75000 DEC! That's pretty nice for just playing a game. Even more crazy is that this could actually happen to anybody, whether you are in a silver or in a champion league.

These gold foil cards are actually really expensive because they are so scarce! Some of those gold foil cards have circulation of less than 200 and there will never be more of them!

In my opinion there is not much of a difference between regular foils and gold foils, except the cards are nicer, you need "less" cards to level it up and you get a DEC bonus for winning with them.

The reason I made this post is that I want to tell you that even if you don't like Splinterlands in its current form or you have any other problem with it, it really makes sense to play now.

Why? Because of the halving promotion from the Splinterlands team.

What's the big deal? First of all, there will be tournaments with nice prizes, but obviously only the best of the best will win. I think what is more interesting is that you will have a chance to get a Halfling Alchemist just for doing 5 battles daily. There will only be 12000 Halfling Alchemist ever printed and you will have a chance to obtain a gold foil Halfling Alchemist too.

Even though there is a 2% chance to get a gold foil Halfling Alchemist it totally could happen that the probability will just not be there and there will be even less than 240 gold foil cards!

This is an event where you can get something ultra rare and very scarce just by playing this game.
