A short Walk Infront of One of the Biggest Hotel In Bali

Finally, after collecting all my courage, and trying to kick my shyness away, I went out with my camera to try to get street photography, but I went to the beach instead. 🤣🤣 Thank you very much @jlinaresp for all your encouragement.

The beach that I went to is called Geger Beach and it lies in front of one of the biggest hotels in Bali called Mulia Resort, the resort it self is divided into 3 sections, and the size was enormous.

But we can still enjoy the beach, because of the government rules in Indonesia that no one can own a private beach no matter how big is the hotel or establishment is. And that is the reason I can still do my short walk in front of this hotel. But you still have to remember that all the equipment that belongs to the hotel is for private use for their guest only, thus you should be careful not to use it without permission.

I paid Rp. 2000 for the entrance fee per person, and Rp. 5000 for parking my bike, so it will cost you less than $1 if you wish to visit the beach. I went all the way to the farthest point you can reach by the pathway on the beach before I decided to take out my camera and start photographing.

Those big buildings you see are part of Mulia, and it is almost big as the stretch of the beach.

And at the end of what seems to be a wave breaker, a few gentlemen are seen casting their fishing rods.

Then I started to walk back, because it was cloudy and the water is not as clear as I expected, the sky also looked dull.

The resort put the separators to keep the visitors away from the property. On the left is I think kind of a wedding venue, but I forgot to take pictures of it.

The broom-wielding man. I wonder what he will sweep on the beach with that kind of broom. But my best guess is to clean the pathway from the beach sand.

"Don't Worry everything will be ok under my watch," said the lifeguard on duty.

Ready for a rescue.

The famous statue that belongs to the hotel. Unfortunately, I can only shoot from the outside, I don't come any closer.

Fancy for a dinner with a bonfire and a small tent on the beach? They have just what you wish for. But it might be a little expensive. 😅

What about watching a movie with a small screen on the beach, then followed with dinner which is prepared by great chefs. Don't worry they also have them.

But the funny thing is that they remind me of my childhood when the TV is not a part of every household. We used to watch this kind of movie set, in the village hall. and I have to sneak in because I can't afford to pay the entrance fee.

I also found this lad enjoying his time at the white sand beach. in front of the local restaurant, and the local area where they rent out sun chairs for the guests.

I wish I can be as lucky as this lad, but time was up, and I have to go back to my boarding room, take a rest and get back to work the next morning.
