Small Moth Choreutis basalis

I was about to go home that day, and call it a bad photo hunt since I don't really get much to photograph in the usual place where I mostly get my macro shots.

I was squatting a little bit, to get a closer look at a fern, when I notice a small moth has flown and hopped into a Wedelia flower next to the fern that I was observing.

I was trying my best to move slowly knowing that it will be my only chance of getting good photos. Lucky me, I manage to get some photos before. . well he flies away again. : )

That moth is Choreutis basalis which is usually found in Australia, Papua New Guinea, and Indonesia. This moth is quite small, with brown color wings. But it has a wide yellow band on its wings, and it makes the body of this moth divided into two sections.
