Visiting My Renovated Memories

Who would not love to give a visit to a place which gives you so many memories, or at least being part of your life journey?
remembering the things that we have been through in those places, which is soo to be left again or it gonna change. forever.

Some time ago, I had a chance to visit my old working place, one of the earliest resorts built in the Nusa Dua area of Bali Island. The resort itself has been demolished and being renovated, getting a huge make-over of the overall property. And the name has been changed into another hotel chain, which is a common thing in the hotel business.

Actually, to go there I have to make some arrangements or an appointment, but because I still have friends working there, they agree to accompany me and my friend to give it a visit and see how the progress has been made.

The renovation seems huge, they give a total renovation to all the rooms, they also add a few more rooms into the whole resort, which in my opinion makes the resort look a bit squeezed than before.

It's the road inside the resorts leading to the lobby.

It is the view from the side of the lobby, the resort itself located at the hillside, so that the lobby has a great view of the surrounding, in some clear days you can also see Mount Agung from her, the biggest volcano in Bali which is located so far away in the eastern part of Bali.

The famous pool of the resorts, it seems they didn't do much renovation on the pool. The Hut on the far side of the photo is the restaurant for the resort.

a new poolside bar being built, it should be fun to have a drink after swimming in such a big pool.

The lobby view from the poolside. They only install the pool handle, and the dustpan is to show you it is still not in an operation. hahah

This one is the lonely waiter station, waiting to be used and serve during the rush hour of meal time. But now still enjoy the sun bathing.

And the last one is the entrance to one of the villas in the resort. Unfortunately, we can't enter the room, because our tour itself is not a formal one.

I should not let you know the name of the new resort, but if you want to see the beauty of the previous resort you can search Amanusa Resort. It belongs to Aman Hotel Chain.

What a beautiful place, are they closed to guests during this renovation period? Very cool you got to go in and refresh some good memories.
