Cake making, Just like Hive : My side Hustling, that Brings more income

I love hive because it give me joy just like my cake making venture, its a side hustle for me but give so much of joy though for me i do it occasionally but its an amazing venture, it is rewarding.

Cake making is one of the things i do that keeps me going, am about 23 years in the baking business but i never considered doing it as a full time engagement, due to the demands from my clients i have decided to give more attention to it than before, so as to satisfy my my friends and clients.

If you can see i am improvising in almost all aspect trying to do it manually, but sooner i will structure it better.

Creaming

Creaming, this is the most tedious aspect of the engagement, because am doing it manually, but i will soon get myself a mixer that will help facilitate the whole process, but for now we will continue till we get the tools needed.

Dry mixtures

The dry substance will be mixed together, for a perfect mixing, so you will have to put all the dry stuffs together, before the final mixing of the whole stuff.

This mixtures are Flours, dry milk, baking powder, nutmeg etc,

Liquid mixture

This is the mixture of all the liquids but first you have to blend the eggs thoroughly, so as to give a perfect texture of the cake when finished, you add all the liquids like milks, lemon if needed etc.

Then all will be put together and mixed thoroughly and then poured into the pans for baking.

After baking

This is what you get after baking, most times if you can not holed your throat, you will consume so much of it and will latter become a problem.

this is after we have gotten the cake out of the oven, sorry that i dont yet have my oven but soon am going to get one.
i do have a woman close to me that has an oven that is bigger that can contain as many pans of cake that i will do per time, so i will take it there for the baking process and that will take like an 2 hours to finish baking and return to my house.

Fundant mixture

This is the mixture of few edible gum, icing sugar and a few other stuffs that will be used to make the past that we use in covering the cake, we have other types but for this very cake decoration or covering, we call it fondant

after mixing it you will allow it to set, but it can still be used immediately but for me i love to make my fondant and allow it to set and become more like a plastic past so that when spread on the work board before covering, it will not cut.

Fondant covering

This part is very beautiful and demands carefulness. we will spread the fondant on the board and with the use of a rolling pin, it will be spread to the dimension that will cover the cake as desired, then it will be covered.

This is what i do also that gives me so much joy, i do believe that staying idle is an act of wickedness, because you will become a problem to many, for me, i see God helping me in many ways and am glad that in all i do, problems are solved and money comes as a response to the services i have rendered.
