Emmy & Pearly : My first painting in 2022 after along time

Hi Friends,
I am so excited that gift that was dead is come alive again, for so long a time. this has been off my mind but coming on the hive blockchain has brought it alive again. My love for painting, or what i call penclus is something i can not explain, but in a short while will be sharing with you about my young friend Emmy and his pet pearly.

This was just few days into the new year, like never before he had one of the best time ever with his pet dog, i watched him closely, i had observed that the excitement was unusual, though he was not saying anything but i knew that something was happening that we did not know, He went out on a date, and on his return, came back with a snap short of the photo below.

I picked it up , to make him a gift that will reflect one of his happiest day in 2022.
This is all done with pencil, painting brush, ruler and a cleaner. its something you can get at any time if you want it done for you, its not costly but very affordable, am glad that emmy and pearly's exciting moment, brought my gift alive.

The Process
The sketching, for me is the most difficult part for me and also the first thing to do as you begin the painting journey.
