My life as a writer : Hive adding Value to life

Greetings to all my readers, am glad to be here again, i hope you all are doing just fine. I will love to say that the very topic of engagement is a very important topic to write about in my opinion, i am late in the contest, but still have to partake in sharing my experince, I did not really know how beautiful and lovely the act of writing could be but joining hive have open my eye to an amazing aspect of my life that would have been abandoned for a very long time. Writing has always been a thing i had passion for but my environment did not allow me give attention to it as such, i will always start by writing a few lines but will never finish the complete article, i knew there was a might in the inside but i could not just activate it until early last year when i met @uyobong, who encouraged and as well inspired me on how i can put my thought together and in a way add value to my life in no small way.

My journey of writing begun from my JSS3 as a boarding student, the system was not very comfortable for me so i had to be documenting almost all things that happened around me. while in my university days, i had so much to write as a person but could not finish any of my books, i had over 15 books of which i started writing but i never finish any not to talk of publishing them, but i kept them all in good condition.

when i was done with my first degree, i knew that it was time to look into the records that i had keep over the years, but considering the state of my nation Nigeria, and the difficulty in having what to do after a first degree education, I started hustling, maximizing the awesome opportunities in the labor market, many establishments, ask me for years of experience that i never had and that made life more difficult for me, one of the days as i sat to think on how i could be useful to myself and family, a friend who was still an under graduate in the institution were i lived ask me to help out in their project work, that in summery became an amazing opportunity for me, the doors for creativity in writing was out rightly open and life became lovely for me.
You will quiet agree with me that if one must be a good writer, reading is one thing that must be part of his/her life, My life was open to studying, beyond my area of discipline as an Engineer to cover almost every area of life.
Sometime early last year 2021 when My mentor @uyobong told me about hive, He said, in his words i have a good news for you, When i arrived his office, he told me, i want to to add more value to yourself by the same thing that you are doing but through a different platform, initially like i have shared in many of my hive stories, i did not want to but he consistently told me that i will not regret it, i told him that i will try to see what it looks like,

My blogging journey or hive journey as you will permit me to call it, has opened up another phase of my life completely, like a friend would say, hive is a life saver, my journey on hive by July will be about a year, within this little time, my mind has been so much developed, as we speak now, nothing is a waist around me, i have learnt through hive to maximize every opportunity around me and make life beautiful in a legitimate way.

I tell you the truth, i lie not, the first five months was not like your own experiences, it was full of mistakes, posting good content in the wrong communities, using the wrong tags for the wrong post, and so on, the difference became clear, when i decided to stay indoors for a few months to really study the hive platform and to know were and when to engage a particular community, I had to effectively engage some good and amazing friends that i have met here on hive who have been so much of a blessing, i will not be able to go through all of them but for want of time, i will mention but a few, @uyobong, @leogrowth @imfarhad, @vickoly, @flaxz

I make bold to say that writing is what eat, it is what gives me joy, it had become a part of me, when am home, in the car, in the office, hive has also made it more beautiful and amazing, it has become my second home, were i find joy, satisfaction and fulfillment.
