The truth in our life today is that, there is stress in every aspect of our life's, I will have to start from the one we are trying to break out from, pandemic to economic and political tension, you can not do away with natural disaster., all this have in all lunch us stress, as much as it is not all bad but we will have to watch out for this one called Chronic Stress.
Like i did shared before, to some persons, it has become a normal life style, i actually did not have an understanding of this, but now i see that when stress is allowed to stay for a longer period, it will result in Chronic Stress

The way this guy act, it has the capacity to manipulate the mind and body, though one can do a few things to update the physical and mental wellbeing.

What is Stress?:

Stress is never a bad thing though it might seem like a bad thing, but comes as a response to something naturally, At any point we feel threatened, in response, our reacts by body releasing some hormones like adrenaline and cortisol that helps to enhance mental clarity, it will help tighten muscles, and also accelerate the heart rate activities.
I was actually okay with that type of stress that comes and go, it keeps me more alert and active, that one is called Acute Stress , i was enjoying this one because it was coming from time to time but i did not know that there is more than acute stress, called Chronic Stress, that should be watch out for.

When dose Stress becomes Chronic?:

This is when the stress is lasting from weeks to month and so on.

Chronic stress can impact your overall health. One risk is high blood pressure, also known as hypertension. For example, studies have shown that chronic stress is associated with a hypertension (or high blood pressure). Furthermore, some risks can snowball into others: Hypertension, for example, can raise your risk for other health problems, such as heart attack or stroke.
Similarly, the hormone cortisol—which gets released during chronic stress—may also lead to cravings of sweets and fats. As we all know, unhealthy eating can also raise your risk for obesity or other chronic diseases.
But the consequences of chronic stress don’t stop with the physical effects. Stress can affect your emotional or mental health too—not just making you more prone to nervous or anxious feelings, but also more depressed. Recently, the American Medical Association acknowledged how anxiety and depression can be connected, as well as how the isolation of COVID-19 may exacerbate problems.link

How you can Handle it:

  • Get active:

When you get active physical, it will positively affect your mood, change your feelings and reduce stress, strolling will give a great input, but i will say that jogging, dancing or swimming, will give more effective result and as well faster, again do not forget to see your doctor at first.

  • Prioritize your sleep:

This is something that i was not careful about while on campus, I had so much of this issue while i was in the university, at some point, i could not even sleep, not to talk of sleeping enough, Now i know why i had to go through the things i went through. It only got better when i began to prioritize my sleeping hours.

When you sleep, your brain unpacks much of the day’s activities and stressors during the various phases of sleep, including rapid-eye-movement.link

  • Avoid self-isolation:

This is what i see people do a lots of time, in the office, it is not an option or therapy for the stress, you much do well to surround your life with an amazing set of persons, full of life funs, like the few i have in our office, @inibless, @etorobong, @peckypeace, @duncanek, and a few other. With this few set of persons, i can not be in isolation.

I want to say as i conclude, that incase you are having or experiencing Chronic Stress, it not an end but you will have to take responsibility for your recovery and healthy mental and physical wellbeing. this linkhas the details of my post extraction on Chronic Stress.

Thanks so much to all my readers, for always stopping by my blog, Thanks @hive-102879, @appreciator and all my supporters for your amazing support, i do not take it for granted. please, stay safe and enjoy your love life, try your best to stay off Chronic Stress, Bless you.

Activating the body is one of the suggestions we like the most. With physical activity we can think clearly and channel the energy of our body effectively, energy that perhaps some feelings could incite us to direct it to something or someone, aggravating the problem.🍂

We will always have tools to help us manage, which are free, simple and accessible.😁

Greetings @ekotmordemy 🍩
