🌳Visiting the Botanical Garden in Zurich🌳 // Visitando el Jardín Botánico en Zurich🌳.

Hello everyone my dear friends of @pinmapple what a pleasure and pleasure to greet you. Today I want to share with you the visit to one of my favorite places of this beautiful trip to Zurich, The Botanical Garden of Zurich. On this trip to Switzerland I wanted to visit such an important place where thousands of species of plants from all over the planet are concentrated. I am a lover of nature and outdoor activities. Besides, my professional inclination has been related to Environmental Management.

I tell you that to attend this Botanical Garden I decided to go walking because it was a cool and sunny day. I helped myself at all times with the Google Map application. It took me more than an hour to get there. As I walked the sun was getting more intense and at one point my cell phone stopped working. It was very hot 🤣. With only a few minutes left to get to the Garden, I got a little lost. So I decided to take shelter from the sun for a while.

I sat down, in a kind of square, where I refilled my thermos of water and washed my face a bit. I sat for a few minutes waiting for the phone to cool down before continuing. At first I was worried and thought it had been damaged. Friends I had the app open and the phone in my hands exposed to the sun. Once recovered and glad the phone was back to normal 🙏, I got going.

Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes la visita a uno de mis lugares preferidos de este hermoso viaje por Zurich, El Jardín Botánico de Zurich. En este viaje a Suiza quise conocer tan importante lugar en donde se concentran miles de especies de plantas de todo el planeta. Les cuento que soy amante de la naturaleza y las actividades al aire libre. Además mi inclinación profesional ha estado relacionada con la Gestión Medioambiental.

Les cuento que para asistir a este Jardín Botánico decidí irme caminando por tratarse de un día fresco y soleado. Me ayudé en todo momento con la aplicación de Google Map. Tardé más de una hora en llegar. A medida que caminaba el sol se iba poniendo más intenso y llegó un momento que dejó de funcionar el celular. Estaba muy caliente 🤣. Faltando pocos minutos para llegar al Jardín, me perdí un poco. Así que decidí resguardarme un rato del sol.

Me senté, en una especie de plaza, en donde recargué mi termo de agua y lavé un poco mi cara. Estuve por unos minutos esperando que el teléfono se enfriara para continuar. Al principio me preocupé y pensé que se había dañado. Amigos tenía la aplicación abierta y el teléfono en las manos expuesto al sol. Una vez recuperada y contenta que el teléfono volvió a la normalidad 🙏, me puse en marcha.

When I arrived at the Botanical Garden the excitement of having achieved my goal of walking from my daughter's house to the Botanical Garden was a challenge. More than 1 1/2 hours walking in such a high temperature. So the first thing I did was to sit down to regain my energy and hydrate. I relaxed and even stretched to be able to continue my walk and connect with nature.

What a beautiful place, I tell you that this garden has three domes that are the greenhouses where plants are grown, preserved and exposed in climatic conditions different from those of Zurich. These greenhouses house plants from tropical, subtropical and savannah climates.

I was struck by the aquatic plants that were in a kind of pool or special pond, these had an intense, impressive and eye-catching green color. As I walked around and enjoyed the garden I noticed that all the plants and trees had an identification card detailing name and classification.

Cuando llegué al Jardín Botánico la emoción de haber logrado mi meta de caminar desde la casa de habitación de mi hija hasta allí, fué un desafío. Más de 1 1/2 caminando con una tempertatura tan alta. Así que lo primero fué sentarme a recuperar las energías e hidratarme. Me relajé y hasta hice estiramientos para poder continuar mi recorrido, paseo y conectarme con la naturaleza.

Qué belleza de lugar, les cuento que éste Jardín tiene tres cúpulas que son los invernaderos en donde se cultivan, conservan y exponen las plantas en condiciones climáticas diferentes a las propias de Zurich. Éstos invernaderos albergan plantas de climas tropicales, subtropicales y de sabana.

Me llamó la atención las plantas acuáticas que se encontraban en una especie de piscina o estanque especial, éstas tenían un intenso,
impresionante y llamativo color verde. A medida que caminaba y disfrutaba detallando el jardín pude observar que todas las plantas y árboles tenían una tarjeta de identificación detallando nombre y clasificación.

I sat in different spaces and places of this Botanical Garden where I spent several hours between morning and noon. I first toured the open spaces and then entered the greenhouses. There was a common room where aquatic plants and fauna species were exhibited in aquariums. There were also some administrative offices. On one of the walls there were posters and information about the programs and activities that take place in this garden.

In this garden there is a building that serves as a training and education center for environmental conservation and to protect endangered plant species. Imagine friends there are thousands of species of plants, trees and flowers from all over the world. These plants in turn need climatic conditions, special requirements for cultivation, effort and dedication of a team of people who carry out this work and mission. An institution that is worthy of admiration and imitation in the world.

Me senté en diferentes espacios y lugares de esta Jardín Botánico aquí pasé varias horas entre la mañana y mediodía día. Primero hice el recorrido por los espacios abiertos y después entré a los invernaderos. Había un salón común en donde exhibían en acuarios especies de plantas acuáticas y fauna. Además de encontrarse algunas oficinas administrativas. En una de las paredes tenían carteles e informacion de programas y actividades que se llevan a cabo en este Jardín.

En este Jardín existe una edificacion que sirve como centro de formación, educación para la conservación medioambiental y proteger las especies de plantas en extinción. Imagínense amigos allí se concentran miles de especies de plantas, árboles y flores de todas partes del mundo. De igual manera se estudian, cultivan y protegen. Éstas plantas a su vez necesitan condiciones climáticas, requerimientos especiales para el cultivo, esfuerzo y dedicacion de un equipo de personas que llevan a cabo esta labor y misión. Institución que es digna de admirar e imitar en el mundo.

It is also a cultural and environmental heritage of Switzerland. It was founded in 1833 going through changes and transformations that gave way to the construction of new physical spaces in 1977, when it was inaugurated. So since that time it is open to the public. Offering various activities such as guided tours, workshops, exhibitions and what is typical of a prestigious institution such as this garden.

The Botanical Garden of Zurich is open every day and it is free hahaha I liked that a lot. It is a place to recreate, walk, connect with nature, appreciate the beauty of the different species of plants and flowers. Here I could see people strolling and photographing just like me. Without a doubt this is a place for recreation and enjoyment.

Cabe destacar que este Jardín Botánico es administrado por la Universidad de Zurich y es centro de investigación científico de reconocimiento internacional. Asimismo es un patrimonio cultural y medioambiental de Suiza. Se fundó en el año 1833 pasando por cambios y transformaciones que dieron paso a la construcción de nuevos espacios físicos en el año 1977, cuando se inauguró. Así que desde ese momento está abierto al público. Ofreciendo diversas actividades como: visitas guiadas, talleres, exposiciones y lo propio de una institución prestigiosa como lo es este Jardín.

El Jardín Botánico de Zurich está abierto todos los días y es gratis jajaj eso me gustó mucho. Es un sitio para recrearse, pasear, conectarse con la naturaleza, apreciar la belleza de las diferentes especies de plantas y flores. Aquí pude observar las personas paseando y fotografiando al igual que yo. Sin duda que este es un sitio para la recreacion y disfrute.

Amigos de #hive que gusto compartir con ustedes este hermoso lugar que me llenó de energía y felicidad al contemplar lo hermoso de la naturaleza, sus plantas, flores de diferentes tipos y variedades. Es increíble que en un sólo lugar albergue miles de especies de plantas. Fué impresionante ver los espacios verdes y todo un espectáculo de la naturaleza.
