Natural Park Takengon : Playing with Rabbits to develop good habits

Hello #Hive Lovers...Blessing for all of us.

Suddenly my son said to me, "Let's go to the rabbit garden" (while he was showing several photos and the location of the place on his smartphone). This is how we first came here. Well, it seemed impossible to refuse that request, because being in a dormitory for a year might be very boring for him. And we went to that place.

Natural Park Takengon is a tourist destination created in 2022. The specialty of this place is that here you can play with rabbits. The thing that I thought was so unique that I was interested in coming was how rabbits could be kept here, even though Takengon is famous because the area is very cold. Yes, Takengon is at an altitude of 1800 MDPL; of course, it has a different cold level from areas in Aceh. As far as I know, rabbits are animals that cannot stand the cold and always need to be warm.

Getting to this place is also not too difficult, you just need to direct your map to Natural Park Takengon, and you will easily get there. Moreover, I am a person who comes from and was born in this cold city. Of course, I know this place very well, and it is very close to my grandfather's village.

Upon arrival here, each visitor will be asked to pay just ten thousand rupiah for a ticket, and you are free to enjoy every area of this place except for ordering food and drinks. There is a cafe here that is quite attractive and has affordable prices. As far as I know, this place used to be a coffee plantation, and I still see the remains of that garden, with several coffee trees remaining in this place. The first sight when you arrive here is that the small hills are planted with grass as a play area for rabbits.

There is no distance created between visitors and this rabbit. You are free to give the rabbit food that the rabbit likes. (Oh yes, there are officers here who provide rabbit food such as kale, lettuce, and carrots at special prices, but they are not expensive.) However, seeing the large number of visitors, of course, many rabbits were no longer interested in eating, just jogging around to avoid being chased by the children. Of course, before holding the rabbit, I gave the children a few rules, and after holding the rabbit, you have to wash your hands.

In the middle of the rabbit play area there is a simple pool. I know initially this was for the rabbits so they could keep drinking, but the management of this place added a small rowing boat for children to ride. In the pond, there are also tilapia fish and lotus flowers, which I haven't seen in the city for a long time.

Well, after they are satisfied playing and feeding the rabbits and taking selfies, the children can go to the natural cafe in the middle of this tourist spot. Most of those sitting here are parents monitoring their children while enjoying Gayo coffee or other food.

They are also called children, and sometimes their desires are very random. After playing and feeling bored, they decide to ask to go home. However, there is one thing that I think is important to include here, namely education about the lives of rabbits. Apart from playing, they also gain knowledge about the lives of rabbits, how to care for them, and what they can and cannot do with rabbits.

In my opinion, the management not only exploits rabbits for profit but also educates visitors so they can care for and preserve rabbits as animals that are very close to humans. If you are interested in coming here, all you have to do is click the link at @pinmapple below Natural Park Takengon

There are also several fowls and birds here, but they can only be enjoyed and listened to because I can't capture them on my cellphone. The beautiful sounds of birds, beautiful nature, and a comfortable make this place is a good place for you to choose if you want to make your children happy. Well, seeing how happy they looked playing with the rabbits lifted my burden of problems with their mother. Hopefully this won't be in vain.
