A un paso del cielo
asi me sentí, a tu lado fui poesía y sueños
bailando cada atardecer entre las caricias
que regalaba el Sol al despertar a la luna
pero no fue suficiente
porque tú amor se borro como las huellas
de nuestros cuerpos en la arena
y aún así yo sigo aquí enfermo de nostalgia
añorando tus abrazos.
así me sentí a tu lado sin saber que volaba
y que sin ti se rompió todo lo que fue nuestro algun dia
y aunque sigo buscando cada dia
no queda ya ni un solo motivo en mi corazón
para seguir luchando por alguien
que busca en otros brazos conseguir amor.
así me sentí pero tú olvidaste sentir todo el dolor que yo he sentido
te marchaste sin saber todo lo que yo he vivido
todo lo que he llorado
porque si lo hubieras sabido
entonces también llorarias al sentir que sin ti no soy feliz.
One step from heaven
That's how I felt, by your side I was poetry and dreams
dancing every sunset between the caresses
that the sun gave when it woke up the moon
but it was not enough
because your love is erased like the footprints
of our bodies in the sand
and even so I'm still here sick with nostalgia
longing for your hugs
So I felt by your side without knowing that I was flying
and that without you everything that was ours was broken one day
and although I keep looking every day
there is not a single reason left in my heart
to keep fighting for someone
who seeks in other arms to get love.
That's how I felt but you forgot to feel all the pain that I have felt
you left without knowing everything that I have lived
all i've cried
because if you had known
then you would also cry when you feel that without you I am not happy.
