Hello, Splinters Fanatics!

Back for another weekly challenge with another Battle Mage Secrets, where players share their deepest battle secrets in the light of a specific Ruleset.

This week's Ruleset to be analyzed is Born Again, where all monsters have the opportunity to be reborn if they are killed. It's a relatively new Ruleset and came about shortly after the powerful RUNI monster, which is the only one to possess this ability in the entire game.

This ability is very interesting, because we can use it in several ways, of course to our advantage. The first way to use this Ruleset is to use monsters that have a lot of armor and somehow have the ability Armor Void, either by their own ability or acquired through the GRANDMASTER RATHE Summoner or the Weak Magic Ruleset. When the monster is revived, it comes back with only 1 Health and a large amount of armor combined with Void Armor to keep it in play for much longer.

Another strategy using the Born Again ruleset is to use monsters with the Martyr ability alongside a monster in order to increase its stats several times. Combining Born Again with the skill Resurrect is also an excellent option in this situation.

A combo often used in this Ruleset is to use QUORA TOWERSHEAD and its squires VENARI MARKSRAT and FUNGUS FLINGER. There are other metas that use these little monsters that have the ability Martyr, but I believe this is the most common.

There are many secrets to be revealed, but I believe these are the main ones. Now there's nothing better than a battle to put the concepts and strategies presented so far into practice!

The battle took place in the Silver League and featured the following rulesets: Equalizer and Born Again. In addition, Splinter Life and Death weren't available and it had 35 mana.

Faced with the available Splinters and the amount of mana, I didn't think twice and chose Splinter Terra with Soulbond Summoner, LOBB LOWLAND, which allows me to summon a Gladiator monster. And seeing the Ruleset Born Again, I couldn't pass up at least one monster with the ability Martyr.

My opponent, on the other hand, summoned CONQUEROR JACEK, whose main feature is to increase speed. With Ruleset Equalizer, he took advantage of the opportunity to cast monsters with low mana and health, but with a reasonable attack. In other words, he bet his chips on the number of monsters and speed. I, on the other hand, threw away 16 mana with my Summoner and Quora. Let's see who does better!

My line-up strategy:

CARD	STRATEGY
	In the first position, I chose FUNGUS FLINGER, as it is a Ranged damage monster that cannot attack, but will serve as food for QUORA.
	In second position I climbed QUORA TOWERSHEAD, our main tank, which has a lot of health in addition to its healing ability and the ability Bloodlust, the latter of which if activated several times makes it an unstoppable monster.
	In the next position I cast FUNGUS FIEND, which has zero mana, so it was cast because there was a vacant position. However, the position wasn't the best.
	Then I deployed GOBLIN PSYCHIC, which has a good magic attack and the ability to heal the monster in the first position, giving good support to QUORA.
	In the next position I chose QUEEN MYCELIA which grants (+2) armor to all allied monsters and the Amplify ability, the latter to amplify the effect of the monster with the Thorns ability.
	Finally, I deployed VENARI KNIFER, a melee damage monster that has the ability Thorns to defend itself against possible monsters with the ability Sneak.

In the first round, you can see my opponent's line-up and see that he's betting on speed with some high-speed monsters. In the first position he used EXPLODING RATS, which benefits in every way from Ruleset Equalizer and its own high speed combined with that of the Summoner.

Also note that the opponent has more monsters at their disposal to attack, while our team has a smaller number and low attack power for the time being! VENARI KNIFER looks like it's going to be a dead weight in our battle, since there are no opposing monsters with the Sneak ability.

Already this round FUNGUS FLINGER has been defeated, increasing QUORA's stats. All our bets are on this gladiator.

After FUNGUS FLINGER died twice, Quora is now well-nourished and ready to attack whoever comes her way. She also has the support of our beloved GOBLIN PSYCHIC, who will be healing her by increasing her healing power. Even with our opponent's random damage, no attack hit VENARI KNIFER, which is bad because there's an enemy monster with Opportunite and it falls behind the monsters with lower health.

QUORA is already very powerful at this point, but the opponent still has all the monsters in the rear intact, and GOBLIN PSYCHIC has been defeated, reducing QUORA's healing capacity. Will Era be able to withstand all these attacks?

Yes, QUORA managed to defeat all of them, but that's not often the case, as most of the time a crowd of monsters can overwhelm her due to their combined attacks.

Today's battle is designed to show how to play when Ruleset Born Again is active. Note that even my opponent used a monster for this purpose, VENARI HEATSMITH, which has armor and the ability Void Armor in its favor. And of course the old combo of using QUORA alongside a monster with Martyr worked very well.

De volta para mais um desafio semanal com mais um Battle Mage Secrets, onde os jogadores compartilham seus segredos mais profundos de batalhas a luz de uma Ruleset específica.

Esta semana o Ruleset que será analisado será Born Again, onde todos os monstros tem a oportunidade de renascer caso seja mortos. É uma Ruleset relativamente novo e surgiu logo depois do poderoso monstro RUNI, que é o único a possui essa habilidade em todo jogo.

Essa habilidade é bem interessante, pois podemos utilizar ela de várias formas, é claro a nosso favor. A primeira forma de utilizar esse Ruleset é utilizando monstros que tenham muita armadura e de alguma forma tenha a habilidade Armor Void, seja por habilidade próprio ou adquirida através do Invocador GRANDMASTER RATHE ou pela Ruleset Weak Magic. Pois, quando o monstro é revivido ele volta com apenas 1 de Saúde e grande quantidade de armadura combinada com Void Armor o deixar em jogo por muito mais tempo.

Outra estratégia utilizando o Ruleset Born Again é utilizando monstros com a habilidade Martyr ao lado de um monstros, a fim de aumentar suas estatísticas várias vezes. Combinar Born Again com a habilidade Resurrect também é uma excelente opções nessa situação.

Um combo muito utilizado nesse Ruleset é utilizar QUORA TOWERSHEAD e seus escudeiros VENARI MARKSRAT e FUNGUS FLINGER. Há outros metas utilizam esses monstrinhos que possui a habilidade Martyr, mas acredito que essa seja a mais comum.

Há muitos segredos a serem revelados mais acredito que esse sejam os principais. Agora nada melhor do que uma batalha para colocar em prática os conceitos e estratégias apresentados até aqui!

A batalha aconteceu na Liga Prata e contou com os seguintes Conjuntos de Regras: Equalizer e Born Again. Além disso, os Splinter Vida e Morte não estavam disponíveis e contou com 35 de mana.

Diante dos Splinters disponíveis e a quantidade de mana, não pensei duas vezes e escolhi o Splinter Terra com o Invocador Soulbond, LOBB LOWLAND, que me permite invocar um monstro Gladiador. E vendo o Ruleset Born Again não poderia deixar escalar ao menos um monstro com a habilidade Martyr.

Já meu oponente escalou o Invocador CONQUEROR JACEK, onde seu carro chefe é aumentar a velocidade. Com o Ruleset Equalizer ele aproveitou para escalar mosntros com baixa mana e saúde, mas com ataque razoável. Ou seja, ele apostou suas fichas em quantidade de monstros e velocidade. Eu por outro lado somente com meu Invocador e com Quora joguei fora 16 de mana. Vamos ver que se sair melhor!

Minha estratégia de escalação:

	Na primeira posição escalei FUNGUS FLINGER como ele é um monstro de dano Ranged fica impossibilitado de atacar, mas servirá de alimento para QUORA.
	Na segunda posição escalei QUORA TOWERSHEAD nosso tanque principal, que possui muita saúde além de sua habilidade de cura e a habilidade Bloodlust, esta última se ativada várias vezes a torna um monstro imparável.
	Na próxima posição escalei FUNGUS FIEND que possui mana zero, então foi escalado porque havia posição vaga. Porém, a posição não foi das melhores.
	Depois escalei GOBLIN PSYCHIC que possui um bom ataque mágico e a habilidade de cura ao monstro da primeira posição, dando um bom suporte a QUORA.
	Na próxima posição escalei QUEEN MYCELIA que concede (+2) de armadura a todos os monstros aliados e a habildide Amplify, esta última para amplificar o efeito do monstro com a habilidade Thorns.
	Por fim, escalei VENARI KNIFER um monstro de dano melee, que possui a habilidade Thorns para se defender de possíveis monstros com a habilidade Sneak.

Venha Conferir a Batalha!

Na primeira rodada é possui ver a escalação de meu oponente e ver que ele apostou em velocidade com alguns monstros de alta velocidade. Na primeira posição ele utilizou EXPLODING RATS, que se beneficia de todas as formas com o Ruleset Equalizer e alta velocidade própria combinada com a do Invocador.

Repare também que o oponente tem mais monstros a disposição para fazer ataques, enquanto nosso time tem uma quantidade menor e com baixo poder de ataquem, por enquanto! VENARI KNIFER parece que vai ser um peso morte em nossa batalha, uma vez que não existem monstros adversários com a habilidade Sneak.

Já nesta rodada FUNGUS FLINGER foi derrotada aumentando as estatísticas de QUORA. Todas as nossas fichas estão sendo apostadas nessa gladiadora.

Após, FUNGUS FLINGER morrer por duas vezes agora Quora está bem nutrida e preparada para atacar quem aparecer pela frente. Além disso, conta com o suporte do nosso querido GOBLIN PSYCHIC, que estará a curando aumentando seu poder de cura. Mesmo com os danos aleatórios de nosso oponente nenhum ataque acertou VENARI KNIFER, isso é ruim pois há um monstro inimigo com Oportunite e ele cai atrás dos monstros de menor saúde.

QUORA já esta bem poderosa a essa altura, porém o adversário ainda possui todos os monstros da retaguarda intactos, além disso GOBLIN PSYCHIC foi derrotado diminuindo as capacidade de cura de QUORA. Será que era irá suportar a todos esses ataques?

Sim QUORA conseguiu derrotar todos eles, mas não é sempre que isso acontece, pois na maioria das vezes uma multidão de monstros podem esmagá-la devido aos seus ataques combinados.

A batalha de hoje adequada para mostrar como jogar quando o Ruleset Born Again estiver ativo. Observe que até meu oponente utilizou um monstro com essa finalidade, VENARI HEATSMITH, que possui armadura e a habilidade Void Armor ao seu favor. E é claro o velho combo de utilizar QUORA ao lado de monstro com Martyr funcionou muito bem.
