This week's challenge will be about Pelacor Arbalest, a card with very offensive attack power, but with great fragility. Let's analyze this card showing its main strengths and weaknesses, in addition to using this card in a battle.

It is a rare ranged attack card from the Chaos Legion edition that strikes terror into any enemy tank with its Double Strike ability. From base level it has (2) ranged attack, (2) health, and (2) speed, all for (6) mana cost.

The image below shows all the attributes of this card. From level 1, this card has the ability Double Strike and from level 5 it gains the ability Flying.

Below we list the strengths and weaknesses of Pelacor Arbalest, in addition to the combat rules that can best be used with this card.

Strengths: Very offensive card thanks to the Double Strike ability;

Weakness: It's a slow card, even at the maximum level where it reaches (3) speed, besides it's a fragile card with low health, using it requires care;

Best Summoners: As it is a ranged attack card, the best synergy is with the Summoners that give (+1) ranged attack, General Sloan, and Selenia Sky.

Rule of Combat: The following are the best rules of combat:

• Aim True - With this combat rule Pelacor Arbalest always hits the target. As it is a slow card this rule is very beneficial;

• Close Range - In this rule all cards with ranged attack can attack in the first position;

• Equalizer - In this rule all cards have their health equaled to the monster with the highest health. So for Pelacor Arbalest this is quite beneficial as he has low health;

• Reverse Speed - Monsters with the lowest speed attack first and have the highest chance of evading attacks. So Pelacor Arbalest as a slow card benefits a lot.

As with the vast majority of cards in Splinterlands since the beginning of the year, the cards are in a downward movement it would be no different with Pelacor Arbalest.

The regular version of this letter is priced at $0.26 on the market and the Foil gold version for having fewer impressions at $3.42 at the time of writing.

Our battle took place in the Wild mode in the Gold league under the following combat rules listed below.

In this battle, we have both Water and Health Splinters available, as our focus was to use the Life Splinter this was the most sensible option.

To have synergy with our dear Pelacor Arbalest I chose the Summoner General Sloan, which gives (+1) ranged attack and makes our star even more offensive.

Also, the Aim True combat rule, which makes melee and ranged attack units always hit the target, is excellent for our Pelacor Arbalest, which is slow.

Our opponent, on the other hand, chose the Water Splinter with Summoner Kelya Frendul, which gives (+1) armor and speed.

Below is our scaling strategy as the battle is low mana we chose to put the highest number of units and chose monsters with ranged attacks mostly.

CARD	STRATEGY
	As there was a high possibility of battling against magic units, we cast Pelacor Conjurer which has (2) mana cost, a lot of health and the ability Magic Reflect, which returns part of the magic attacks.
	Then we cast Furious Chicken as a discard card only.
	Another card that was part of our discard team was the legendary Soul Fiend.
	Next, we scale the star of this post, Pelacor Arbalest, which with its Double Strike ability combined with the (+1) ranged attack buff totals (6) damage to the enemy, since she doesn't miss the mark.
	Finally, we scaled Venari Cristalsmith also with ranged attack and with the ability Heal Tank, which heals the first position monster and gives us a short time.

Started the battle and the summoner buffs are given, our opponent, in addition to getting faster, has not slowed down with Creeping Ooze, which has the ability Slow and gives the enemy a debuff of (-1) of velocity.

Also, Kelya Frendul gives all her allies (+1) armor, meaning our first attacks are wasted. Using the powerful Djinn Oshannus which has a powerful magic attack and a high speed that will be healed by Merdaali Guardian.

In the first round, we managed to knock down his first discard card, Furious Chicken and in the second round, the enemy lost another discard card, Torrent Fiend.

Finally, the opponent's distractions have been mitigated and Djinn Oshannus is in the first position. Let's see if he can withstand our attacks, as he is being healed every round. As long as our Pelacor Conjurer resists, we will have hopes of taking this victory.

O desafio desta semana será sobre Pelacor Arbalest, uma carta com poder de ataque bastante ofensivo, porém com grande fragilidade. Vamos analisar esta carta mostrando seus principais pontos forte e fraco, além de utilizar está carta em uma batalha.

É uma carta rara de ataque ranged da edição Chaos Legion, que toca o terror em qualquer tanque inimigo com sua habilidade Double Strike. Desde o nível base possui (2) de ataque ranged, (2) de saúde e (2) de velocidade, tudo isso por (6) de custo de mana.

Na imagem abaixo é apresentada todos os atributos desta carta. Desde o nível 1, esta carta possui a habilidade Double Strike e a partir do nível 5 ganha a habilidade Flying.

Melhores Summoners: Por ser uma carta de ataque ranged a melhor sinergia são com os Summoners que dão (+1) de ataque ranged, General Sloan e Selenia Sky.

Regra de Combate: A seguir são apresentadas as melhores regras de combate:

• Aim True - Com essa regra de combate Pelacor Arbalest sempre acerta o alvo. Como é uma carta lenta essa regra é muito benefica;

• Close Range - Nesta regra todas as cartas com ataque ranged podem atacar na primeira posição;

• Equalizer - Nesta regra todas as cartas tem sua saúde igualadas com o monstro de maior saúde. Então, para Pelacor Arbalest isso é bastante benéfico, pois ele tem pouca saúde;

Assim como, a grande maioria das cartas em Splinterlands desde o inicio do ano, as cartas estão em um movimento de queda não seria diferente com a Pelacor Arbalest.

A versão regular desta carta está cotado no market por 0.26 dólares e a versão Foil gold por ter menos quantidade de impressões por 3.42 dólares, no momento em que escrevo.

Nossa batalha aconteceu no modo Wild na liga Gold sobre as seguintes regras de combates listada abaixo.

Nesta batalha temos os Splinters de Água e Vida disponíveis, como nosso focus tinha como objetivo utilizar o Splinter de Vida esta era a opção mais sensata.

Para ter sinergia com o nosso querido Pelacor Arbalest escolhi o Summoner General Sloan, que dar (+1) de ataque ranged e torna nossa estrela ainda mais ofensiva.

Além disso, a regra de combate Aim True, que faz com que as unidades de ataque melee e ranged sempre acertem o alvo é excelente para o nosso Pelacor Arbalest, que é lento.

Já o nosso adversário escolheu o Splinter de Água com o Summoner Kelya Frendul, que dar (+1) de armadura e velocidade.

Abaixo segue nossa estratégia de escalação como a batalha é de baixa mana optamos por colocar o maior número de unidade e escolhemos monstros com ataque ranged em sua maioria.

CARD	STRATEGY
	Como havia uma alta possibilidade de batalhar contra unidade mágicas escalamos Pelacor Conjurer que tem (2) de custo de mana, muita saúde e a habilidade Magic Reflect, que retorna parte dos ataque mágicos.
	Em seguida, escalamos Furious Chicken somente como carta de descarte.
	Outra carta que fez parte do nosso time de descarte foi a lendária Soul Fiend.
	Em seguida, escalamos a estrela deste post, Pelacor Arbalest, que com sua habilidade Double Strike combinada com o buff de (+1) de ataque ranged totaliza (6) de dano ao inimigo, uma vez que ela não erra o alvo.
	Por fim, escalamos Venari Cristalsmith também de ataque ranged e com a habilidade Heal Tank, que cura o monstro da primeira posição e nos dar um sobre tempo.

Iniciada a batalha e os buffs dos summoner são dados, nosso adversário além de ficar mais veloz ainda não deixou lento com Creeping Ooze, que tem a habilidade Slow e dar ao inimigo debuff de (-1) de velocidade.

Além disso, Kelya Frendul dar a todos os seus aliados (+1) de armadura, ou seja, os nossos primeiros ataque são desperdiçados. Usando o poderoso Djinn Oshannus que tem um poderoso ataque mágico e uma alta velocidade que será curado por Merdaali Guardian.

Na primeira rodada, conseguimos derrubar sua primeira carta de descarte, a Furious Chicken e na segunda rodada o inimigo perdeu outra carta de descarte, Torrent Fiend.

Finalmente, as distrações do adversários foram atenuadas e Djinn Oshannus está na primeira posição. Vamos ver se ele suporta nossos ataques, pois ele está a cada rodada sendo curado. Enquanto nosso Pelacor Conjurer resistir teremos esperanças de levar está vitória.

Nem o poderoso Djinn Oshannus resistiu ao ofensivo Pelacor Arbalest, que com seus duplos ataques não o deixou respirar. E derrubando está carta a vitória é certa, mas se quer ver com detalhes a batalha completa assista Clicando na imagem da primeira rodada!
