Hoy les quiero contar mi experiencia en un taller práctico donde aprendimos a realizar un ''Mini Facial''. Anteriormente yo solía realizarme faciales en casa pero por factor tiempo he perdido la costumbre e incluso la práctica.
Hace unos días publicaron el las redes sociales del centro comercial ''Costa Mall'' que estarían realizando un taller teórico - práctico donde aprenderíamos a realizar un mini facial y que productos podemos utilizar según nuestro tipo de piel.
Decidí apuntarme en la lista para poder participar.
Teníamos que llevar todos los productos de Skincare que tuviéramos para realizar la práctica en el taller, pero adivinen, yo no tengo nada jaja, de igual forma asistí.

Today I want to tell you about my experience in a practical workshop where we learned how to perform a ''Mini Facial''. Previously I used to perform facials at home but due to time factor I have lost the habit and even the practice.
A few days ago they published in the social networks of the shopping center ''Costa Mall'' that they would be conducting a theoretical-practical workshop where we would learn how to perform a mini facial and what products we can use according to our skin type.
I decided to sign up on the list to be able to participate.
We had to bring all the Skincare products we had to practice in the workshop, but guess what, I don't have any haha, so I went anyway.
Llegué y ya mi amiga Estefania estaba ahí, me comentó que habían realizado una dinámica que consistía en escribir un mensaje en una mariposa y pegarlo en el mural dedicado al mes de la mujer.
Yo llegué un poco tarde para esta dinámica y siendo sincera tampoco quería hacerlo, no tenía nada en mente que pudiera escribir.
Comenzaron a llegar más personas y cada una fue ocupando su lugar.
Minutos antes de comenzar vimos entrar a ''Doris'', Doris es la ''Señora Universo Zulia'' del año 2023. Este es un concurso como ''Miss Universo'' pero con mujeres un poco más adultas. Doris sería la primera modelo en la práctica.
Llegó la Dra. Karelis y el taller inició.
I arrived and my friend Estefania was already there, she told me that they had made a dynamic that consisted of writing a message on a butterfly and sticking it on the mural dedicated to women's month.
I was a little late for this dynamic and to be honest I didn't want to do it either, I didn't have anything in mind that I could write.
More people began to arrive and each one took her place.
Minutes before starting we saw ''Doris'' enter, Doris is the ''Miss Universe Zulia'' of the year 2023. This is a contest like ''Miss Universe'' but with more adult women. Doris would be the first model in practice.
Dr. Karelis arrived and the workshop started.
Comenzó la clase teórica, nos hablaron de los tipos de piel y como identificarlas, yo personalmente ya sabia que mi piel era mixta.
También nos hablaron de el orden en el que se debe realizar un mini facial y los productos que tenemos en nuestro mercado para realizarla.
Este taller estaba patrocinado por la empresa BACC que contiene productos de Skincare. Hay algunos que aun no los han formulado, pero cuentan con una gran variedad de mascarillas, hidratantes y tónicos.
Esta charla teórica complementó los conocimientos que ya poseía en el tema.
Fue un foro bastante completo, con información precisa y relevante.
The theoretical class began, we were told about skin types and how to identify them, I personally already knew that my skin was mixed.
They also told us about the order in which a mini facial should be performed and the products we have in our market to perform it.
This workshop was sponsored by the company BACC which contains Skincare products. There are some that have not yet formulated them, but they have a wide variety of masks, moisturizers and toners.
This theoretical talk complemented the knowledge I already had on the subject.
It was a very complete forum, with accurate and relevant information.
Luego de toda la teoría nos dieron unos minutos por si necesitábamos ir al baño y comenzaron a repartir café y galletas.
Estefania no toma café así que me dió el de ella ya que yo estaba un poco dormida y cansada.
Luego del café comenzamos la práctica. Mientras la Dra realizaba cada paso en Doris nosotras debíamos ir realizando cada paso en nosotras.
Lo primero que hicimos fue desmaquillarnos, las chicas en nuestra mesa nos prestaron un poco de Agua Micelar para realizar este paso y yo les compartí pads de algodón.
After all the theory they gave us a few minutes in case we needed to go to the bathroom and started handing out coffee and cookies.
Estefania doesn't drink coffee so she gave me hers since I was a little sleepy and tired.
After coffee we started the practice. While the doctor performed each step on Doris we had to perform each step on ourselves.
The first thing we did was to remove our makeup, the girls at our table lent us some Micellar Water to do this step and I shared cotton pads with them.
Luego de retirar todo el maquillaje debíamos realizar la segunda limpieza con jabón facial, nos dieron el tip de que primero lo frotáramos en las manos y cuando hiciera espuma lo pasábamos por nuestro rostro.
Comencé a lavar mi rostro en todas partes y luego lo retiré humedeciendo los pads de algodón en agua y pasándolos suavemente por mi cara.
Fue un poco difícil retirarlo pues los pads no absorben mucha agua.
Luego de retirar al jabón sequé mi rostro.
After removing all the makeup we had to do the second cleansing with facial soap, they gave us the tip to first rub it in our hands and when it lathered up we ran it over our face.
I started washing my face all over and then removed it by wetting cotton pads in water and gently running them over my face.
It was a little difficult to remove it as the pads don't absorb much water.
After removing the soap I dried my face.
El paso siguiente era la exfoliación, nos facilitaron exfoliante de la marca BACC pero debíamos mezclarlo con crema humectante ya que los granos eran muy gruesos y suelen ser abrasivos para la cara.
Las chicas del Team de la Dra nos facilitaban los productos y nos explicaban como usarlos.
Comencé a exfoliar mi rostro, por accidente me cayó un poco en los labios y lo probé en un momento que abrí la boca y era bastante salado.
Después de unos minutos de frotar el rostro comencé a enjuagar el producto con lo pads de algodón.
The next step was exfoliation, they provided us with BACC brand exfoliant but we had to mix it with moisturizer because the grains were very thick and are usually abrasive to the face.
The girls from the Dr.'s Team provided us with the products and explained how to use them.
I started exfoliating my face, I accidentally got some on my lips and tasted it at one point when I opened my mouth and it was quite salty.
After a few minutes of scrubbing my face I started to rinse the product with the cotton pads.
Ahora tocaba la mascarilla, las chicas de la mesa nos dieron un poco de la que tenían, sin saberlo tomé mucho más producto y tardó mucho en secar. Era muy gracioso vernos las caras, todas se veían muy bonitas con sus mascarillas y Estefania y yo parecíamos monitos ajaja.
La mascarilla debe dejarse en el rostro por 15 minutos para que seque completamente.
Luego se retira con agua, al retirarla sientes el rostro super suave y sedoso. Nunca había sentido mi rostro tan suave.
Now it was time for the mask, the girls at the table gave us some of the mask they had, without knowing it I took a lot more product and it took a long time to dry. It was very funny to see our faces, they all looked very pretty with their masks and Estefania and I looked like little monkeys haha.
The mask should be left on the face for 15 minutes to dry completely.
Then you remove it with water, when you remove it you feel your face super soft and silky. I have never felt my face so soft.
Ya estábamos en el ultimo paso del Mini Facial. Era turno del contorno de ojos, nos aplicaron un poco en los dedos y nos indicaron que debíamos aplicar dos gotas en cada parte inferior de los ojos y luego lo esparciéramos hacía los parpados.
Cuando el contorno se absorbió aplicamos el serum y la crema hidratante.
Mi rostro no se lleva muy bien con las cremas hidratantes, pues soy de rostro mixto y queda muy grasoso.
Cuando los hidratantes se absorbieron aplicamos el protector solar.
Terminado el taller práctico nos mostraron una limpieza con otra chica de piel grasa, hicieron todo el paso a paso y al finalizar habían logrado controlar bastante el cebo en su cara.
Esta experiencia fue bastante enriquecedora, me propuse reunir un dinero para poder adquirir mis productos de cuidado facial y comenzar mis rutinas.

We were already in the last step of the Mini Facial. It was the turn of the eye contour, they applied a little on our fingers and told us to apply two drops on each lower part of the eyes and then spread it towards the eyelids.
When the eye contour was absorbed we applied the serum and moisturizer.
My face doesn't do very well with moisturizers, as I have a combination face and it gets very oily.
When the moisturizers were absorbed we applied the sunscreen.
At the end of the practical workshop they showed us a cleansing with another girl with oily skin, they did the whole step by step and at the end they had managed to control the bait on her face.
This experience was quite enriching, I set out to raise some money to be able to purchase my facial care products and start my routines.

Qué bien ese taller! Yo más allá de retirar el maquillaje y usar una hidratante y protector solar poco más hago. Pero mientras más pronto uno empieza a cuidarse la piel mejor.

Si, nos pasa lo mismo, no tengo una rutina para el cuidado de mi piel pero, debo comenzar una lo más pronto posible.
