Simón 2023 review and opinion 🇻🇪🎥

Estoy segura que ya anteriormente han elaborado reseñas y opiniones a través de este medio sobre Simón,la película que fue seleccionada para competir en la categoria de mejor película ibeamericana en los premios Goya del presente año,y que además logro mover la fibra no solo de cientos de personas sino de una nación completa.

I am sure that you have already written reviews and opinions through this media about Simón, the film that was selected to compete in the category of best Ibero-American film in this year's Goya Awards, and that also managed to move the fiber not only of hundreds of people but of an entire nation.

La cinta contó con una duración de una hora y Treinta y nueve minutos, se estrenó en septiembre del año pasado ,narra la historia de Simón un chico de nacionalidad venezolana quien es detenido y seguidamente torturado junto a sus compañeros de universidad durante la protestas en Venezuela .

The film, with a running time of one hour and thirty-nine minutes, was released in September of last year and tells the story of Simon, a Venezuelan boy who is arrested and then tortured along with his university classmates during the protests in Venezuela.

Desde el momento que empecé a leer en mi televisión la sipnosis de la película me pregunté si es posible que puedan reflejar la realidad de un país en tan poco tiempo,sin duda creo que el director Diego Vicentini junto a su equipo de trabajo lograron en tan solo cientos de minutos trasmitir la opresión,el dolor la frustración de un país,y eso es un aspecto que resalto mucho de esta producción audiovisual.

From the moment I began to read the film's sypnosis on my television, I wondered if it is possible to reflect the reality of a country in such a short time. Without a doubt, I believe that director Diego Vicentini and his team managed to transmit the oppression, pain and frustration of a country in only hundreds of minutes, and that is an aspect that stands out in this audiovisual production.

Mi propósito es plasmar una reseña en este post desde una perspectiva objetiva sin agregar vivencias o emociones pero como les comenté anteriormente la cinta logró que todos sintieramos algo al verla y al ser basada en hechos totalmente reales y comprobables es difícil no mezclar los sentimientos,más si los has experimentado de cerca o en carne propia.

My purpose is to write a review in this post from an objective perspective without adding experiences or emotions, but as I mentioned before, the film made us all feel something when we saw it, and since it is based on totally real and verifiable facts, it is difficult not to mix feelings, especially if you have experienced them up close or in the flesh.

Durante el largometraje, Simón ( el protagonista) lucha constantemente con su mente ya que a menudo recuerda lo que vivió en Venezuela como dirigente estudiantil,el buscaba una solución a la crisis económica social y política que atravesaba el país junto a su "equipo" quiénes asistían a las protestas del 2017.Mientras lo atormentaban los crudos recuerdos de las torturas, golpizas ,abuso de poder , traición entre otras cosas,Simón trataba de conseguir el asilo político en Estados Unidos país al el cual decidió emigrar tras su liberación .

During the feature film, Simon (the protagonist) constantly struggles with his mind as he often recalls what he experienced in Venezuela as a student leader, seeking a solution to the economic, social and political crisis that the country was going through with his "team" who attended the protests in 2017, while he was tormented by raw memories of torture, beatings, abuse of power, betrayal and other things, Simon tried to get political asylum in the United States, the country to which he decided to emigrate after his release.

Cuando veo una película lo primero en lo que me enfoco es en la actuación de los personajes y sin duda cada uno de ellos sobrepasaron mis expectativas ,pues se sintió tan real y palpable la frustración de Simón(Christian McGaffney)por no poder cumplir sus objetivos de luchar contra lo inluchable ,la forma en la que le daban los ataques repentinos cuando recordaba cada minuto de principio a fin su experiencia como objeto de crímenes de lesa humanidad. Así como también la actuación de Joaquín (Luis Silva) Chucho(Roberto Jaramillo)Ect que reflejaba la desesperanza de una población joven que solo deseaba expresarse y propiciar un cambio .

When I watch a movie the first thing I focus on is the performance of the characters and without a doubt each one of them exceeded my expectations, because it felt so real and palpable the frustration of Simon (Christian McGaffney) for not being able to fulfill his goals of fighting against the un-fightable, the way in which the sudden attacks hit him when he remembered every minute from beginning to end his experience as an object of crimes against humanity. As well as the performance of Joaquin (Luis Silva) Chucho (Roberto Jaramillo) Ect that reflected the hopelessness of a young population that only wanted to express themselves and bring about a change.

En el ámbito técnico y audiovisual no me puedo quejar,las tomas fueron increíbles cada ángulo y plano encajan de acuerdo a la escena , asimismo aplaudo el hecho que supieron adaptar los escenarios por ejemplo el lugar donde se llevaron a cabo las torturas ,las protestas,el salón de clase entre otros,dichos ambienten fueron creíbles gracias a su excelente escenografía.

In the technical and audiovisual field I can not complain, the shots were incredible, each angle and shot fit the scene, I also applaud the fact that they knew how to adapt the scenarios such as the place where the torture, protests, the classroom among others took place, these environments were credible thanks to its excellent scenery.
