Tuesdays tend to be a bit busy for me. Normally, I’d go to Bible study, but with Covid, we’ve resorted to Zoom. It works well but I still miss the group!
After that, our son called and we talked for a little over an hour. It’s good to hear his voice. We’ve not been able to see them since Christmas and with this Covid bug, I’m not sure when we’ll be able to. 😔
We headed out for our hike with a quick stop to feed our neighbor’s cats. We discovered open windows on her trailer and called her to let her know. Fortunately her granddaughter had been there after we had called to let her know about the water leak yesterday. Unfortunately I don’t think it’s enough to save the trailer. She didn’t remove anything and just put some towels down.
So off, we went! It was much warmer than it’s been being and muggy to boot! We went from spring to summer in the blink of an eye! The weekend coming promises even warmer, if not down right hot, temps!🙄. A little moderation would be good!
Of course, Actifit-Lamb was in the mood for hiking!! She wanted to climb a tree and ran ahead to this vine maple, and scurried up.
What a ham bone!
On the trail, right in the middle, was another snail.
After a photo shoot, I moved him to safety!
Living in the forest in the Northwest, you never know what you’re going to see, and we always look for all of it! On our road, off to the side, we found this guy.
I think that maybe he was getting ready shed his skin as his eyes had a blue cast to them.

It is interesting that snakes' eyes turn blue before shedding their skin.
O know what you mean. Last night, we had our Zoom theology class. It works well but, like you, I miss the face to face discussion and interaction with the group!
Another snail and.... OMGwad, a snake! I have not seen a live snake for ages! So now I am wondering if there are snakes by the river bank where I go once a week!!! Should I come across one, I will be like Actifit Lamb... up a tree (as it the snake can't go up a tree, LOL!)

Well....I hate to break it to you.....but there are snakes that hang out in trees! However, I don't think you have to worry about that as I think they are mostly down in Dixie and the Appalachian mountains and maybe Texas. We have snakes (just garden variety) here, they are so silly in the fact that on the paved road, they will sit there soaking up the warmth and then a car comes along....... Yes, I even save the snakes, along with the snails and the Woolley worms! I do draw the line at slugs, though. Have a wonderful night sis!💕🌸
