We got up this morning and began set up for a live FB broadcast we were doing for church. I don’t know why, but that makes me more nervous than standing in front of a live congregation, lol! Things went really well. The only hiccup was when I was reading scripture, I started to put the word ‘shine’ but it was supposed to be ‘his face’ so when you combine the two together, it sort of sounds, well not like anything you’d say during church. At the time it didn’t seem too bad but when I listened to the recording, I cringed and then burst out laughing as it really wasn’t what was said but boy it sure sounded bad. God knows! I just hope everybody else does too.
I put forth a lot of energy when leading and usually feel pretty exhausted afterwards, but that was not the case today. We got ready soon after church and headed out for a hike.

As many of you know when I hike, I always look for snail babies and move them out of harms way. This was the only snail baby today, which is a bit unusual to be so few after a rainy period like we had over the past 24 hours.
After spending the morning perched on my keyboard as we led worship, Actifit-Lamb was raring to go! She found another log to climb up on for today’s pic.
As we left Towhee Ridge, I looked up and could not resist taking this perfect day’s blue skies.
I also caught this strange creature near there.

I've not tried Facebook get-togethers. Is it live and interactive? Is it the Messenger feature of Facebook that you use?
Only one snail? Where are the rest of the babies? I suppose it depends on the weather? There's just so much to know in this world. I can't believe I never really thought of snails and when they come out in the open. Sorry for all the questions.

No worries! As for FB live, it is just like broadcasting a podcast but live. We can't see who is watching. If we were just doing talking, we could tell how many people had joined to watch the video, but doing live music, we are too busy to even think about looking at a phone to see, lol! It's like tuning in to watch a video, if you will. It is not interactive. You can, through messenger, do something similar to Zoom, but the lag time can be annoying. Our Bible Study used to do that and changed to Zoom because of FB lag time.
Snail babies; only the one yesterday, and none today. They come out after it rains and the forest floor is damp. It's supposed to rain tomorrow, so I suspect a hike might just be out for the day if the forecast is correct. We shall see!
