Sorry for my absenteeism again for almost another month... Just being busy with work and then wrapping up everything before going on a long holiday with my family before 2025 ends...

It's really a great trip, our very first guided tour, we bought the package some time ago back in early October during a travel fair at Sunway Velocity... Our very first winter trip, before the tour we have spent months getting ready, preparing winter clothes, reading about the do's and don'ts since we are going up the highlands with quite some altitude above the sea level...

Browsing through the posts in XiaoHongShu (RedNote), even though we are on a guided tour, but it didn't stop us from going through those walkthrough/guides... What are we gonna see, what are we gonna buy, etc...

And then when it's almost time, me getting busier, especially it's the end of the 4th quarter and also year end... Making sure I had everything prepared and finalized and not to add extra burdens to my colleagues... Really blessed to have all my lovely and supportive and awesome colleagues... Also my super cool HOD... 😘😘😘

Time really flies and now I am back home and tomorrow is the day I am going back to work... How I really wish the time and stop forever when I am away from home and don't have to come back to work nor have to come back to real life 🙈🙈🙈 lol, I guess this will be my dream and goal... Financial freedom achieved and that's when I can have my dream come true! 🤞

Ok, after so many words and I still have yet to go into the main topic... Sorry, I guess this is one of the side effect when I have not been writing for some time 😅😅😅

From my blog title, it's not hard to guess that me and my family went on a trip to Yunnan... A beautiful place... Cold (especially when it's windy!!!) and dry (super duper dry)... And lots of stairs (my feet and toes aren't mine anymore after starting the trip 🤣🤣🤣) and due to the altitude, made me even more exhausted and out of breathe whenever I climbed the stairs or walked long distance... Ok, I know, I need exercise... 🙉🙉🙉

As I mentioned earlier, we joined a guided tour... We are really blessed to have met up with super nice and caring tour leader, tour guide and also all the tour members are super cool as well...

Thanks a lot to Derrick, our tour leader, for taking good care of everyone in the group. Thumbs up 👍👍👍 and then our main tour guide Pu Ge 🔥🔥🔥, shoutout for the soothing narration during our bus trip (lol, not really that lullaby style, still informative and fun), our second tour guide Ah Mu for accompanying us up the Yulong Snow Mountain and Blue Moon Valley, and then our highland tour guide (really sorry, I didn't get your name, but I remember you said that Tibetan don't have surname, just first name)... Both Derrick and Pu Ge are excellent photographer!!! Thanks for helping us taking beautiful photos here and there...

哈咯大家好不好意思我又失踪了一段时间 🙈🙈🙈
2025年结束了，时间过得太快了，一眨眼，一年就这样没了，难道真的是上了年纪了吗？时不时就在感叹光阴似箭，时光飞逝😅😅😅

那我消失的这段时间里都干了些什么呢。。。嗯，其实得从2025年10月讲起了。。。10月头逛街的时候发现了一个旅游展，然后就签下了一个旅行团。。。一家大小年底出国旅行，在别的国度跨年。。。我们到了哪里？云南！！！是的，美丽的云南。。。吉隆坡飞昆明，然后到大理，接着是丽江，再往上到香格里拉，之后会到大理和昆明。。。

我们第一次一家大小飞到冬天的地方，签了旅行团就开始不断的作准备了，完全没有冬装的我们开始“血拼”，大姐也在考完试后开始织织织。。。围巾，手套等。。。真的需要天赋和耐心。。。看着小红书就能编织出来，太厉害了👍👍👍

除了这些准备功夫，也看了不少的攻略，虽说是跟旅行团，但是还是想看看自己去的地方有什么好玩的好吃的好看的。。。大姐翻到一家“脑子进水”的店铺。。。在洋人街。。。文创店，她兴奋的不得了，一直说一定要去！还有丽江古城必须的旅拍，穿民族服装，化妆美美的拍照。。。

结果呢，理想很丰满，现实很骨感。。。“脑子进水”我们的确到了，还游了两次。。。丽江古城自由行当晚美美旅拍没拍成，时间太仓促了，也太累了。。。如果真的想要拍，不建议跟团来，还是自由行吧。。。

但是我们还是穿到了民族服装拍照，只是没化美美妆而已。。。在纳帕草原额外付费的藏族服装和包含在团费里的丽江御宴的改良版清代服装以及圣托里尼的苗族服装。。。还是开心的。。。我家三朵金花穿的比较美，我呢，哎呀，如果能瘦一点就好了🙈，照片拍出来我想丢掉了，圆圆一粒的，天气冷本就穿得多，更加圆鼓鼓的🥲🥲🥲，不说了。。。说开心的就好，哈哈哈哈，自我洗脑，啊Q一下下。。。

老实说，真的古人说的没错，读万卷书，不如走万里路。。。去到不同的国度，看看体验尝试，真的和书里看的电视看的不同的。。。亲身体验了印象深刻些。。。

虽说我脑子好像也不太好使，记得的也不太多，但还是很开心，认识到了新的朋友。这是我家第一次跟团，非常感恩，遇到了棒棒的，超暖心的领队和导游。

一开始和领队Derrick信息联系时，感觉怎么这个领队这么的高冷，不理人的。因为第一次嘛，所以有很多不懂的，就发了好多问题询问，结果过了不少时间才得到回复，这是距离出发日期还有一周的时候的事。。。当时印象还真不太好呢。。。心里在想，怎么办，会不会很难相处呢。。。结果原来只是因为领队依然在外带团，太忙了，分不了身照顾“未来”还没遇到的团友。。。

我们的9天7夜的旅程，Derrick是超级温暖的也非常的用心，照顾团里的每一位团友。。。感恩，谢谢🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️。。。我们的导游普哥也是棒棒的，有耐心的非常用心的给我们讲解。。。虽然每次他都说自己车里说话像催眠，但实际上不会啦，我都有在听，闭目只是太阳🌞太刺眼了。。。你讲话我都有在听的，不过是自己脑子不好使，有些没记住而已😅😅😅

另外我们还有两个导游，阿木和高原导游，扎西（抱歉，我没记住名字）。到了西藏高原不要叫导游，因为这个发音听起来在藏语的某词相似，疯疯癫癫，神经病的意思。来到西藏高原，男的都可以叫扎西，女的就叫卓玛。。。一定一定要学会的藏语 “扎西德勒”, 问好，吉祥如意的意思。相互说扎西德勒也意味着相互交换祝福的意思。。。

每个地区，每个族称呼都有点不一样，阿鹏金花，阿表哥阿表妹，扎西卓玛，等等等。。。还有好多啊，我只记住了这几个🙈🙈🙈
