The Bee Gees are a British musical group formed by brother Barry Gibb, born 1 September 1946 (United Kingdom), and twins Robin Gibb and Maurice Gibb, born 1949. In the 1950s, they began performing in audiences at small concerts in Australia. The name Bee Gees comes from the Gibb brothers' initials, BG, and is pronounced Bee Gees in English.

In 1958, the Gibb family moved to Brisbane, where the brothers continued to develop their art. Thus, after playing in several clubs, they reached number one in Australia with "Spicks and Specks" in 1966. A year later they returned to England.

Their first album, Bee Gees First, was released in England in 1967. It was a psychedelic rock album, in contrast to the disco orientation that the band would later adopt. The album cover was designed by Klaus Voormann, who previously designed the Beatles' album Revolver. All songs were written by 19-year-old Barry Gibb. After moving to Miami with producer Arif Mardin, they produced Mr. Natural in 1974 and Main Course a year later. The style evolves from romantic and sentimental music to Rhythm & Blues.

They soon switched to disco music, anticipating a trend. They released 'Children of the World' and went to number one with 'You Should Be Dancing'. The biggest worldwide hit of 1977 was the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack from the film of the same name.

In 1979, they released Spirits Take Flown, which had several number one hits with melancholic songs like "Tragedy" and "Too Much Sky." His style is now more melodic and moving in his songs.

In 1981, they took a break from the group to pursue solo careers and released Living Eyes. Barry has previously collaborated on songwriting for other artists, including Barbra Streisand, Diana Ross, Bryan Adams and Kenny Rogers.

In 1987 they released "E.S.P." We met again to record an album. Then I wrote, 4 years later. Four years later they released High Civilization and, in 1993, size is not everything. In 1997, the Bee Gees released Still Waters, which shocked half the world with its voice. This Is My Entry, released in 2001, received a great response from the public and was the last album Morris recorded before his death two years later.

That same year, The Record, a compilation of the Gibb brothers' best works, was printed and published. In 2004, another collection of songs was published, and in 2005, Love Songs, a compilation of the Bee Gees' best love songs, was published. Since 1987 he has worked in his own recording studio in Miami, Florida. The song "You Will Win Again" (1987) became an international hit. Horizontal (1968), Odessa (1969), Trafalgar (1971), To Whom It May Concern (1972), Main Course (1975), Ochi vii (1981) and "Here I Come" (2001).
