Alarm beeps!

"Oh gosh it's Monday morning already!" Sarah whispered to herself. She will have to be up early enough in order to prepare her 2 years old baby for school and also prepare for work. "Off we go!" Sarah said as she laid her hands on her little one and dashed into the car.

Sarah is a very successful, strong, smart, independent, beautiful lady who happens to be a single mother and an entrepreneur. She has a well known beauty shop — Saline-hands beauty shop, which she has strived hard to maintain and build a reputable legacy, and obviously she has done nothing else but satisfy her client demands. In fact , there is this funny saying that "Saline-hands beauty shops are your answered prayers."

But there was a little problem, Sarah is bossy and barely recognises the hard work of her employees. She puts up this impression that she is enough and is all capable, forgetting the saying that we need one another to survive.

It was Sarah's 5years shop anniversary as she walked into the shop all happy and elegant only to get the news flash of her life. "Ma'am, all our workers are resigning!" Her PA said to her. It took her time to interpret that statement as she pays well and makes sure to pay on time. "How can they do that to me? Why today of all days?" She wondered while still trying to understand what made them leave.

"Those ingrates have been planning this all this while. They felt this is the right time to strike since we have a lot of unmet deliveries to make but no problems." She said with the pains in her eyes. "Go to the streets, I don't know how you will do it but don't come back without getting me workers!" She screamed with anxiety while heading to her office.

Her PA did as instructed. She went into the nearby street and gathered as many available people, she could to Sarah. With little time at hand, Sarah was unable to verify some of the claims the selected ones made. She went ahead and employed them.

That act became Sarah's greatest mistake that cost her shop the five year wonderful reputation it has maintained. They literally gave her customers the opposite of what they ordered. The news spread like a wildfire. And was further amplified by some of her competitors. As a result she lost quite a number of customers.

It almost seemed impossible to bounce back but thank God she learnt her lesson even if it was in a hard way that we need one another to survive. Sarah got good workers again and this time around didn't fail to give them the right impression about herself and together they bounced back.

Nice story with good lesson... Pride has never helped anyone in any way, it always come back negatively.
I'm glad Sarah learnt her lessons even though the hard way.
