A Stroll on the Wildflower Side

Another slightly misty morning as I took a walk around the local country park. I like this time of year as all the blossom is out on the trees. It was quite mild but overcast. The blossom will look its best on sunnier days.

The car park has the occasional wild
camper staying overnight in their camper vans. This one is quite old. I'm not sure I'd feel safe here, overnight.

I walked along the footpath, and made my way up the side of the wooded area.

As well as the blossom, the pussy willows were also making an appearance. The trees are in bud which is a lovely sight. The yellow catkins really stood out on an overcast day.

Also, a little bit of blossom on the blackthorn bush. It is quite common here in the UK. The fields are often surrounded by this bush. Insects love it, especially the bees.

After sitting on the seat for a few minutes, I went on my way. Spring is definitely on it's way.
