A Visit to Matlock Bath in the Derbyshire Dales

We called in at Matlock Bath today, which has been a popular tourist attraction since the 17th century, when its warm spa waters were discovered to have healing properties.

The road is full of cafes, shops amusement arcades, a museum, as well as other attractions.

You can also take a leisurely walk along the River Derwent.

Matlock Bath is also a place where motorcyclists meet up. It's been a popular meeting place for bikers for many years.

A few bikers were there today. They usually meet up on Sundays and Bank Holidays, especially if the weather is good. They definitely boost the local economy as they turn up in their droves.

Even though Matlock Bath is quite commercial, it is still a nice place to visit. It's like a seaside town without the sea!
