A Walk Around Clumber Park in Nottingham

We had a chilly day today, as we took another walk around the National Trust's Clumber Park in Nottingham. We parked up and started our walk at the gothic style chapel which was surrounded by Canada geese.

We followed the footpath which took us through a line of trees.
The variety of trees were beautiful, even the dead ones look great!

There are 3,800 acres of woodland, parkland to explore including the lake with its tufted ducks. We've been coming here since we were kids and still find different walks to explore.

We past the temple folly. The sun came out casting some great looking shadows on the ground.

After a couple of hours, we made our way back to the car. Even though it was cold, this is probably going to be the best day weather wise as it's forecast gales and snow over the weekend.

Beautiful photos, thank you very much. You've obviously had a great walk.

Is this park open to the public all the time? Are there any joggers and dog walkers?

Thank you. Yes, it's open to the public every day until 7 pm, I think. You have to pay for parking. Lots of dog walkers, cyclists and joggers go there but there's plenty of room for everyone.
