Chatsworth Estate in Derbyshire, UK

The Chatsworth Estate must be my favourite place to take photos in autumn. St Peter's church lies in the village of Edensor. The village was custom made and was commissioned by the 6th Duke of Devonshire in Chatsworth Park. It has mock Tudor houses, Swiss cottages and a lovely tea room. Apparently, the Duke didn't like the old estate as it spoiled his view of the estate from Chatsworth House! It must be nice to have the money to do that.

Chatsworth House is home to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire. The house has been passed down through 16 generations of the Cavendish family. You can explore inside parts of the house for an entry fee.

The Estate has a lot of fallow deer, red deer and a few extra wild deer in the park. Everytime you drive through the park you have to look for the deer.

I've been visiting the Chatsworth Estate since I was a kid. It was a place your parents took you on a warm, summers day. Over the years I've grown to love how different it looks with each change of seasons. I'm not a royal fan but I love visiting the Estate.
