Feathered Friends: Show Me A Photo Contest Round 109

Thank you to @nelinoeva for the new theme of 'busy birds'. Most people like the cute robin but they can be quite "busy" being aggressive and territorial!

While out at a local nature reserve, a robin swooped down to eat the bird seed on the gate post. A blue tit also tried to land and the robin wasn't happy.

There was no way the robin was going to share the food with any other birds. (This is my entry to the contest).

The blue tit managed to land but it wasn't long before it flew off. It will have to return when the robin has had its share of the spoils.

Thank you @nelinoeva, @melinda010100, and @barbara-orenya for the #smap contest.

Oh yes, robins defend their territory fiercely. I still like them. 😀
These are really incredible images of both birds.

Hahaha that last photo really looks like it was about to bitch-slap that tit right off the gate post! 🤣
