Feathered Friends: Show Me A Photo Contest Round 109
Thank you to @nelinoeva for the new theme of 'busy birds'. Most people like the cute robin but they can be quite "busy" being aggressive and territorial!
While out at a local nature reserve, a robin swooped down to eat the bird seed on the gate post. A blue tit also tried to land and the robin wasn't happy.
There was no way the robin was going to share the food with any other birds. (This is my entry to the contest).
The blue tit managed to land but it wasn't long before it flew off. It will have to return when the robin has had its share of the spoils.
Thank you @nelinoeva, @melinda010100, and @barbara-orenya for the #smap contest.
That moment really catches the hectic feelings. I think it fits the theme perfectly!
Thank you. I'm pleased you've said that. 🙂
Excellent photos! Our American Robins don't eat seeds.
Our robins must be hungrier. 🙂
Oh yes, robins defend their territory fiercely. I still like them. 😀
These are really incredible images of both birds.
Hahaha that last photo really looks like it was about to bitch-slap that tit right off the gate post! 🤣
Your comment made me laugh .... a lot! 😁
I'm glad, your photos made me chuckle too so I had to share 😆
Wonderful photography 😍
Thank you very much @princewaqar.
That's a lot of emotions right there! Amazing you were able to catch it!
Handbags at dawn! 😁
