The Crocus Trail at the Holy Trinity and Christ Church

(Edited)

Every springtime, a lovely carpet of purple crocuses appear in the churchyard of the Holy Trinity and Christ Church in my home town.

It was quite overcast this morning, so it probably wasn't the best time to go and see them. However, it certainly brightened up a dull morning.

On February 25, the church welcomes visitors to look at the Crocus Trail in the churchyard, telling you certain facts about the flowers and giving you the chance to take photos. Although, obviously you can go anytime you like, as I did.

Even though there were crocuses everywhere, they were mostly growing on the right handside of the churchyard.

As usual, there was a bit of activity with other people taking photographs. You have to be careful not to tread on any of the flowers or the gravestones. I think I left everything in tact.

Not forgetting the daffodils. Spring is on its way ....

Oh nice! I've only been to London and Dublin in the UK, but I definitely want to visit more of the countryside!

By the way alien fan, I noticed that you post using hive.blog, have you ever heard of the frontend inLeo?

Hi yes I've heard of it. I do tend to post my blogs on Ecency but do the replies on Hive, if that makes sense. 🙂
