When the Snow Comes Down

Getting back from a rainy Bournemouth to find out there had been snow in my area was a nice surprise. I love a bit of snow. The local children took full advantage of it and made a snowman .... or should I say snowperson??

Snow definitely stopped play on the football pitch. I think snowy photographs look really good in black and white.

We fed the birds as a heavy snowfall can make it difficult for birds to find food. At least the lake wasn't frozen over. The heron didn't seem to be too bothered by the change in weather.

This duck followed us over the bridge just to get a bit more food. We were happy to oblige.

Whatever the weather, dogs still have to be taken out for a walk! Sadly, as usual the snow didn't last for very long, but it was still good while it lasted.
