You have done incredibly well with your collection. I'm impressed you managed to get so many gunslingers, I also wonder (on the topic of cornering the market) whether someone has all the punks of a trait. I'm close with laser eyes, but @kwskicky -yes i'm tagging you-, refuses to sell his one to me which would complete my collection.
As for your giveaways, they are wonderful and impactful (if marginal) to potential newcomers to not only Punks, Hive or otherwise, but NFTs in general. I have been a naysayer of PFP NFTs for a while but that mostly applies to the dodgy wash trading and frankly ridiculous prices of some elsewhere, I do think that Hive Punks on the other hand have more "conscientious" intentions and I'm pretty happy the way that they are.
I was able to buy a lot at minting but I own none of the ones I minted, and have probably injected close to 100k Hive in buying and giving a fair number away - a trend I don't intend to stop.
I think as you say, these things will become more collectible over time, particularly if/when Hive matures and we find ourselves with several orders of magnitude more users. To that end, we must persevere with our building and outreach - something I take very seriously here at Liketu.
I couldn't imagine collecting laser eyes, but then again, I think your collection only costed about ten times more than mine, but in the beginning I didn't really have a clear direction and I probably overspent.
Although, I am in the same boat with one of my hidden collections, I'm trying to collect all of one trait and I'm at the point where people are either refusing to sell or they're asking for me to buy them a new car and this was suppose to be a cheap attribute to collect.
