Florecita de yeso para el cuarto 🌸💗 [Esp/Eng]

Cómo están ? Ojalá que bien! Yo estoy bien, pero me estoy volviendo loca de tanto estudiar y hacer trabajos, menos mal que hay unas materias que nada más queda una evaluación pero hay unas que todavía faltan dos y ya termino clases y vienen las vacaciones 🥳

Hoy yo les quiero enseñar una flor que hice y sirve para decorar, pero también para poner cosas chiquitas como una velita o zarcillos o anillos. Eso yo lo vi por pinterest porque ahora mi mamá me pegó ese vicio y descargué la aplicación hace tiempo.

La flor yo la hice con una pasta de yeso que hizo mi mamá en estos días para hacerme una bandejita para poner en la mesita de noche de mi cuarto y como quedó masa yo me puse a jugar con ella porque se parece a la Play Doh, y mi mamá me dijo que buscara algo que hacer con eso para que no se echara a perder y encontré una flor que se veía facilita de hacer y que la usaban para poner una mini velita entonces guardé el video y la hice y quedó bien bonita.

Yo utilicé

Ahora el paso a paso

Esta masa de yeso es así como plastilina o la Play Doh que les dije, pero también creo que se pueden usar otras que sean parecidas y que cuando se seque se ponga dura.

Bueno lo primero que yo hice fue hacer una pelotica que después aplasté para que quedara un círculo gordito.

Después hice como un tubito de masa y lo corté en 5 pedacitos del mismo tamaño que van a ser los pétalos de la flor.

Y con esos pedacitos hice 5 peloticas y las puse alrededor del círculo que hice primero y me mojé un poquito el dedo y aplasté una parte de la bolita para que se pegara al círculo y lo fui alisando con los dedos y quedó listo un pétalo y después fui haciendo los otros.

Cuando terminé de hacerlos otra vez me mojé un poquito el dedo y lo pasé por todas partes para que se viera liso y ahora tenía que esperar que se secara y eso se demoró como cuatro días.

Hay que ponerlo en un sitio que no haya aire acondicionado ni que le pegue sol porque tiene que secarse poco a poco sino se rompe como le pasó a mi mamá.

Después que se secó vi que tenía como unas rayitas pero chiquitas entonces mi mamá me dio una pintura blanca que es a la tiza que ella tiene y que es bien espesa y con eso la pinté y se taparon esas rayitas.

Cuando eso se secó que no demoró mucho agarré una lija que es finita y le pasé con cuidado por todos lados y quedó casi toda lisita, en el medio no tanto porque me daba miedo que se rompiera.

Después la pinté con la pintura lila dos veces y después le eché un poquito de blanco como en el centro pero subiendo un poquito para el pétalo y cuando se secó bien le eché el brillo de uñas por todas partes porque yo quería que quedara así brilloso. Y después lo dejé que se secara bien y lo puse en la mesita de noche donde creo que va a ir.

Thank goodness there are some subjects where I’ve only got one exam left, but there are others where I’ve still got two to go. Once that’s over, classes will be finished and the holidays will be here 🥳

Today I want to show you a flower I made that’s great for decoration, but also for holding little things like a small candle, earrings or rings. I saw this on Pinterest because my mum’s got me hooked on it now, and I downloaded the app a while ago.

I made the flower with some plaster that my mum had made recently to make me a little tray to put on my bedside table, and as there was some left over, I started playing with it because it’s like Play-Doh, and my mum told me to find something to do with it so it wouldn’t go to waste, and I found a flower that looked easy to make and that they used to hold a mini candle, so I saved the video and made it, and it turned out really pretty.

I used

Now for the step-by-step guide

This plaster putty is just like modelling clay or Play-Doh, as I mentioned, but I think you could also use other similar materials that harden when they dry.

Well, the first thing I did was make a little ball, which I then flattened to form a chubby circle.

Then I made a little tube of dough and cut it into 5 pieces of the same size, which will be the petals of the flower.

And with those little pieces, I made five little balls and placed them around the circle I’d made earlier. I dampened my finger slightly and pressed down on one side of the ball so it would stick to the circle, then smoothed it out with my fingers. That made one petal, and I went on to make the others.

When I’d finished making them, I dampened my finger a little and ran it all over the surface to make it look smooth. Then I had to wait for it to dry, which took about four days.

You have to put it somewhere without air conditioning or direct sunlight, because it has to dry gradually; otherwise it breaks, as happened to my mum.

After it had dried, I noticed it had some tiny little lines, so my mum gave me some white chalk paint she had, which is really thick, and I painted over them with that to cover the lines.

Once it had dried – which didn’t take long – I grabbed some fine-grain sandpaper and carefully rubbed it all over; it ended up almost completely smooth, though not so much in the middle because I was worried it might break.

Then I painted it with the lilac paint twice, and then I added a little white in the centre, blending it up a bit towards the petal. When it was completely dry, I applied nail varnish all over it because I wanted it to be really shiny. Then I left it to dry properly and put it on the bedside table where I think it will go.
