Marcalibros con acuarelas [Esp/Eng]

Cómo están todos? Yo estoy bien, esta semana no tengo muchas cosas del liceo y les quiero enseñar un marcalibros que hice el fin de semana y que se parece un poquito al que hice con el papel de seda, pero este lo hice con las acuarelas y no le puse palabras ni nada pero quedó bien bonito y a mi mamá le gustó, porque lo hice para ella!

Yo quería hacer como una puesta de sol con unos cactus en negro y busqué por Internet unos diseños para ver los colores del cielo y cuando lo encontré busqué las acuarelas y los pinceles y todo lo que iba a usar.

Ahora el paso a paso

Lo primero que hice para hacer el marca libros fue marcar en la cartulina un rectángulo de 14 cm de largo y 5 cm de ancho que es donde voy a pintar el atardecer, y puse también mis acuarelas, el agua, los pinceles y un pañito.

Después que tenía eso listo comencé a poner el primer color que sería morado y lo hice con una técnica que me aprendí hace tiempo que es mojado sobre mojado y lo que hay que hacer es mojar el pincel con agua y secarlo un poquito y pasarlo por la cartulina y después agarrar el color con el pincel y pasarlo recto. Yo usé un pincel que es plano y tiene la punta como diagonal.

Después del morado hice lo mismo, pero con color anaranjado con un poquito de rojo.

Después de esos colores puse otro anaranjado pero uno diferente, y yo hice lo mismo, mojé primero la cartulina y después le pasé el color naranja.

El color que le puse abajo es como un amarillo pero no el amarillo pollito es como ocre algo así, y como en esa parte iba a parecer como que se veía el sol yo dejé unos pedacitos sin color y no pasé el pincel todo recto sino que le hice como golpecitos para que quedara así como se ve que no se ven las líneas. Y ya esa parte la dejé así porque abajo va una parte que va negro.

Ahora lo que hice después fue pintar para que no se viera como los colores divididos y yo lo que hice es que usé un pincel que es como gordito y con una punta medio fina y usé el mismo color en cada parte y le daba como unos toquecitos para que se viera como algo de nubes y así, y también hice eso en la línea de cada color y se ve como más mezclado todo.

Bueno hice eso con todos los colores y también en una partecita puse un poquito de rojo.

Después vi que como que había dejado mucho espacio para el negro y lo pinté con anaranjado y el amarillo y también pasé primero el pincel con agua y después el color, pero con el pincel gordito y le di toquecitos.

Cuando eso se secó bien pinté lo que va de negro que es como una montaña y unos cactus y cuando eso se secó hice unos pajaritos con un marcador negro finito y ya terminé lo de pintar.

Después que se secó hice otro rectángulo de 15 cm de largo y 6 cm de ancho y ahí pegué la cartulina de mi pintura con el silicón frío y quedó bien bonito y por lo menos a mí mamá le gustó mucho.

How is everyone? I'm fine. I don't have much schoolwork this week, so I want to show you a bookmark I made over the weekend. It's a little bit like the one I made with tissue paper, but this one I made with watercolors. I didn't put any words on it or anything, but it turned out really pretty, and my mom liked it because I made it for her!

I wanted to paint a sunset with some black cacti, so I searched the Internet for some designs to see the colors of the sky. When I found one, I looked for the watercolors and brushes and everything else I was going to use.

I used

Now for the step-by-step guide

The first thing I did to make the bookmark was to mark a rectangle 14 cm long and 5 cm wide on the card, which is where I'm going to paint the sunset, and I also laid out my watercolors, water, paintbrushes, and a cloth.

Once I had that ready, I started to apply the first color, which was purple, using a technique I learned a long time ago called wet-on-wet. What you have to do is wet the brush with water, dry it a little, and run it over the cardboard, then pick up the color with the brush and apply it in a straight line. I used a flat brush with a diagonal tip.

After the purple, I did the same thing, but with orange and a little red.

After those colors, I added another orange, but a different one, and I did the same thing: I wet the cardstock first and then applied the orange color.

The color I used at the bottom is like a yellow, but not a chick yellow, more like ochre, and since that part was going to look like the sun, I left some small areas without color and didn't brush straight across, but rather tapped the brush so that you couldn't see the lines. I left that part like that because there's a black part below it.

Then I painted it so that the colors wouldn't look divided. I used a thick brush with a medium-fine tip and used the same color on each part, tapping it lightly so that it would look like clouds. I also did that on the line between each color, and now it looks more blended.

Well, I did that with all the colors, and I also added a little bit of red to one small part.

Then I saw that I had left too much space for black, so I painted it with orange and yellow. I also brushed on water first and then the color, but with a thick brush, and I dabbed it on.

When that was dry, I painted the black part, which is like a mountain and some cacti, and when that was dry, I drew some little birds with a fine black marker, and that was the end of the painting.

After it dried, I made another rectangle 15 cm long and 6 cm wide, and I glued the cardboard from my painting to it with cold silicone, and it turned out really nice, and at least my mom liked it a lot.
