POEM: GONE

It was when you met him
Young, naive and carefree
He held your hands while you both
sat at the Brt bus terminal.
And he understood your silences
The plea in your unspoken words
The hope in your eyes.
his aura sparkled like Gold, and his energies spirited.
He was kind, loved you selflessly
You knew he cared even when he didn't say it...
The way he looked at you, his empathy,
affectionate care for your wellbeing.
You realize years later that there was no
rules to this beauty.
No career prospects tags,
no what are you bringing to the table tags.
You were enough for him just as he was all you wanted.
Take her body but her heart will always yearn for that beautiful soul that indeed made her truly smile.
Two hearts loving each other wholeheartedly.
Watching young ones loving, smiling genuinely...
Just like you did years ago.
You sincerely hope they don't lose that smile in a world of class, money,
and quest for perfection.
And you realized your smile would never be the same again...
