Iniciamos haciendo el boceto de la clave de sol en una hoja blanca para luego recortarla con la tijera, el tamaño importa según sea su propósito, como es para colgar en el cuello lo hice de 4.5 centímetros por 1.3 de ancho.

We started by making the sketch of the treble clef on a white sheet and then cutting it out with scissors, the size matters depending on its purpose, as it is to hang on the neck I made it 4.5 centimeters by 1.3 wide.

El proceso para tallar la madera varía según el tamaño del diseño, pero casi siempre se repiten los pasos básicos, como por ejemplo remarcar lijeramente con la mecha del dremel cada raya del boceto. También comenzar el remarcado con gubias o formón para madera.

The process for carving wood varies depending on the size of the design, but the basic steps are almost always repeated, such as lightly highlighting each line of the sketch with the dremel bit. Also begin the marking with gouges or wood chisel.

Es un trabajo que requiere mucha paciencia, no es un lápiz y un borrador, un error aquí cuesta todo el trabajo, entonces debemos seguir las líneas del boceto y tratar de no repasar los límites, de hecho, este trabajo me costó no salirme de los límites porque es muy incómodo trabajar la partes pequeñas.

Con la ayuda de las lijas y el dremel se puede conseguir una mejor forma del diseño en su parte exterior, es decir, todo el borde de la nota musical. Algunas partes las conseguí mejor con el cúter y la lija manual.

Cómo recomendación es mejor trabajar las partes internas y luego las externas, es más cómo cuándo tienes mucha superficie de madera que aguantar mientras se hace el tallado.

With the help of sandpaper and the dremel you can achieve a better shape of the design on the outside, that is, the entire edge of the musical note. Some parts were better achieved with the cutter and hand sandpaper.

As a recommendation, it is better to work on the internal parts and then the external parts, it is more like when you have a lot of wood surface to hold while the carving is being done.

Las láminas de lijas al agua número 2000 son esenciales para un mejor acabado, este procedimiento se repite de dos o 4 veces hasta que quede bien prolijo.

Sheets of water-based sandpaper number 2000 are essential for a better finish. This procedure is repeated two or 4 times until it is very neat.

Aunque le faltó muchos detalles a mi trabajo, con una pulitura con crema tapa un poco la falta, como dije, hay cosas que después de hacerlas no se pueden echar para atrás jeje.

Por último se apliqué una capa de aceite teca y coloque una argolla para colgarlo en el cuello. Ya es otra pieza para mí colección.

Finally, I applied a layer of teak oil and placed a ring to hang it around the neck. It's already another piece for my collection.
