Una vez más por aquí para mostrarle como convertí un recorte ordinario de madera en un pedante extraordinario, para colgarlo o lucirlo en el cuello.
Crear piezas con materiales ecológicos es algo que siempre me apasiona, son proyectos sencillos que estimulan en gran manera mi creatividad y mi pasión por las artes manuales.
Hace algún tiempo compré unas piedras en la tienda de bisutería sin tener idea de que arte crear con ellas, a medida que busco inspiración me alegra cuando por fin el diseño lo visualizo en la mente.
Ésta vez fabriqué el pedante con una piedra de color verde turquesa y lo incrusté en un recorte de madera de cedro, dónde la piedra hace el papel de macetero y en la madera grabé un pequeño árbol.

Here again to show you how I turned an ordinary wooden cutout into an extraordinary pedant, to hang or wear around your neck.
Creating pieces with ecological materials is something that I have always been passionate about. They are simple projects that greatly stimulate my creativity and my passion for manual arts.
Some time ago I bought some stones at the jewelry store without having any idea what art to create with them, as I look for inspiration I am happy when I finally visualize the design in my mind.
This time I made the pedant with a turquoise green stone and embedded it in a cutout of cedar wood, where the stone acts as a flowerpot and in the wood I engraved a small tree.

Materiales/ Materials
-Piedra ovalada color turquesa
- Madera de cedro
- Cordón marrón piel de serpiente
- Argollas de bisutería
- Dremel
- Cúter
- Pintura gris metalizada / pincel
- Lija
- Brillo en Spray
-Oval turquoise stone
- Cedar wood
- Brown snakeskin cord

El primer paso consiste en medir las dimensiones de la piedra ovalada para luego marcar con lápiz en la madera y comenzar a esculpir bien sea con herramientas manuales o eléctricas, yo utilicé ambas, inicié esculpiendo con formón de carpintería y luego terminé el calado con el dremel y una piedra para esmerilar.
La piedra mide 1.5 centímetros de largo, 1 centímetro de grueso y 1 centímetro de ancho.
Calé 0,80 centímetros en la madera para que la piedra sobresalga.
The first step is to measure the dimensions of the oval stone and then mark with a pencil on the wood and begin to sculpt with either manual or electric tools, I used both, I started sculpting with a carpentry chisel and then finished the draft with the dremel. and a grinding stone.
The stone measures 1.5 centimeters long, 1 centimeter thick and 1 centimeter wide.
I scored 0.80 centimeters into the wood so that the stone protrudes.
El segundo paso, después de recortar la madera con la cegueta, dibujé un árbol con lápiz y con la punta diamantada y el dremel calé en la madera el diseño de un árbol que sale desde la parte superior de la piedra.
Luego lijé con una lija al agua número 2000 para quitar la porosidad y coloqué argollas incrustando un gancho en la madera para colocar el cordón piel de serpiente marrón, al cual coloqué dos bolitas de madera para combinar con el pedante.
Con pintura color gris metalizado pinté el árbol para que resalte.
The second step, after trimming the wood with the blind, I drew a tree with a pencil and with the diamond tip and the dremel I traced the design of a tree that comes out from the top of the stone on the wood.
Then I sanded with a number 2000 wet sandpaper to remove the porosity and placed rings by embedding a hook in the wood to place the brown snakeskin cord, to which I placed two wooden balls to combine with the pedant.
With metallic gray paint I painted the tree to make it stand out.
Por último, lo barnicé con brillo en spray después de ovalar un poco el diseño de la madera para que no quedase cuadrado y siguiera la forma de la piedra.
Con un trapo limpio se le saca brillo porque el spray es como un aceite que se pule y brilla dando un aspecto hermoso y resaltando las betas de la madera
Finally, I varnished it with spray gloss after making the wood design a little oval so that it wasn't square and followed the shape of the stone.
Shine it with a clean cloth because the spray is like an oil that polishes and shines, giving it a beautiful appearance and highlighting the grains of the wood.

Te quedó muy precioso el colgante de madera con la piedra incrustada. Es un accesorio original y único. No hay copias. Es lo que más adoro del trabajo artesanal.
