Visiting the mucubaji lagoon in the state of Merida Venezuela.
The month of November was my journey of adventures through the paramo of the Andes, this time with the largest natural beauty of the region being the mucubaji lagoon, with an antiquity of 10 thousand years, according to its history, a long time.
It is located one kilometre from the trans-Andean road, in the channel of the state of Barinas.
The entrance fee is 2 dollars, the equivalent of 60 Bolivares Sovereigns, and maintenance and care is provided by the workers of Inparques, known as the Sierra Nevada National Park.
When you pay the entrance fee, you will see a large car park for the tourists' vehicles. You can enjoy the park on foot or on horseback, without forgetting that there are guides to help you explore its corners.
To be there is to breathe pure air, with frailejones vegetation and a diversity of fauna, under a dreamlike climate and the sound of birds, an absolute peace.
Venezuela possesses multifaceted natural beauties, which make us proud worldwide.
From the moment we enter the place, from afar we see the lagoon that covers the hull of the zone and once we approach the shores we enjoy the magic that its water transmits with the reflection of the sun.
It has a pier, with a speaker detailing the view of the place, unfortunately because of the sun's rays, its history is not fully detailed.
This park works from 8 am to 5 pm, on Mondays, Wednesdays and onwards, resting on Tuesdays.
Since my 30 years of life, I had never been in a place as beautiful and indescribable as this attraction, I was in love with it and wanted to return soon to enjoy its corners, but this time on horseback.
Unfortunately we arrived late, so we could not make the tour as it should. But we left a beautiful photographic memory, under the mist that embraced us.
A historical site, which brings with it mystery and magic at the same time.
It is not a family story, every relic has a background that transcends our roots.
It is a strategic place for mountain runners to test their abilities due to its altitude of 3625 metres above sea level.
There are several wooden speakers, which surround the place in strategic places that call to the conscience to take care of the natural environment and to throw the rubbish in its place.
Maintaining the beauty that surrounds us is the responsibility of all of us, to value and love it so that our roots have an environment to enjoy.
I have no words to describe my stay there, I invite you to visit this majestic attraction.
