Coleccionando recuerdos 🥰 [Esp/Eng]

Hola, ¿qué tal, amigos, cómo están? Por aquí muy bien, gracias a Dios, descansando un poco después de un largo día que la verdad hoy tuve bastante trabajo, así que aquí ando aprovechando la noche.

El día de hoy pasé por aquí para enseñarles una idea que tuve gracias a una foto que vi hace días por Pinterest y dije: “¿Por qué no? Pasa que no me había colocado a hacerla porque no tenía los materiales que necesitaba y, en tal caso, necesitaba muchas impresiones a color porque, la verdad, soy fan fan de capturar todos los momentos bonitos que tenga con mi familia.

Hi there, how are you all doing, friends? Things are going really well here, thank goodness. I’m having a bit of a rest after a long day – to be honest, I had quite a lot of work today – so I’m making the most of the evening.

I popped in today to show you an idea I had thanks to a photo I saw a few days ago on Pinterest, and I thought: ‘Why not?’ The thing is, I hadn’t got round to making it because I didn’t have the materials I needed, and, in this case, I needed lots of colour prints because, to be honest, I’m a huge fan of capturing all the lovely moments I have with my family.

Así que la verdad, la primera parte fue para mí la más difícil porque la primera parte fue en la que comencé a recolectar, todos esos fotos que yo quería es que aparecieran, y fue bastante difícil porque la verdad tenía muchísimas y no sabía ni por dónde empezar porque la verdad para mí cada recuerdo es muy especial y la decisión estuvo bastante difícil tanto, así que necesitaba 32 fotos y tuve que llegar a un límite de 62 porque había muchísimas fotos que quería colocar y con un límite de 32 era muy poco.

Si hay algo que me faltó aquí, que la verdad quería que estuviera, fueron las luces de Navidad. ¿Qué pasa? Como ya estamos en esta época, es bastante difícil conseguir un lugar donde yo pueda comprar ese tipo de luces porque este tipo de luces también la llegaba. La cuestión es que yo quería hacer algo muy bonito para el cuarto y se me ocurrió esa idea, así que me puse manos a la obra y tomé todas las fotos que necesitaba y comencé a hacer mi obra de arte, así tipo mosaico como corazón en la pared de mi habitación.

So, to be honest, the first part was the hardest for me because that’s when I started gathering all the photos I wanted to include, and it was quite difficult because I actually had so many and didn’t even know where to start—because, honestly, every memory is very special to me and the decision was really tough, so I needed 32 photos and I had to set a limit of 62 because there were so many photos I wanted to include and a limit of 32 just wasn’t enough.

If there’s one thing missing here that I really wanted to include, it was the Christmas lights. What’s the matter? As we’re already in this time of year, it’s quite difficult to find a place where I can buy that sort of lights because they were also in short supply. The thing is, I wanted to do something really nice for the room and I came up with that idea, so I got down to work and took all the photos I needed and started creating my artwork, sort of like a mosaic in the shape of a heart on my bedroom wall.

Claramente, como son varias fotos, tuve mucha ayuda con mi sobrina y con mi novio para recortar y para colocar la foto; asimismo, tenía que estar muy pendiente de que quedara superderecha en el momento. Pero la verdad es que cada vez que colocaba una pieza sentía que quedaba así de lindo y es un detalle que me gustó muchísimo en mi cuarto cuando lo terminé.

Luego, de haberlo terminado, me siento un rato a descansar y contemplar todos los recuerdos que en ese corazón estaba asimismo, me senté con las personas que me ayudaron o sea mi novio y mi sobrina a disfrutar un rato de un rico postre en este caso, un quesillo, y la verdad es que me gustó muchísimo. Y me di cuenta qué pasamos un rato muy bonito recordando todas esas anécdotas que pasamos en esos momentos saludos amigos hasta tu oportunidad.

Obviously, as there were quite a few photos, my niece and my boyfriend were a huge help with cutting them out and sticking them on; I also had to make sure they were perfectly straight as I went along. But the truth is, every time I stuck a piece on, I felt it looked just lovely, and it’s a detail I really loved in my room once it was finished.

After finishing it, I sat down for a while to rest and reflect on all the memories contained within that heart. I also sat down with the people who helped me – my boyfriend and my niece – to enjoy a delicious dessert, in this case a quesillo, and I really loved it. And I realised we had a lovely time reminiscing about all those stories from back then. Cheers, friends, until next time.
