Empatía con los que no tienen voz [Esp/Eng]

Hola, ¿qué tal, amigos? ¿Cómo están? Espero que muy bien. Por aquí todo muy fino, a pesar de que mi vida, la verdad, yo sentí que fue bastante larga, estuvo cargada de muchas emociones encontradas que hoy decidí venir a compartir con ustedes.

Hello, how’s it going, friends? How are you all? I hope you’re all doing very well. Everything’s going swimmingly over here, although, to be honest, I felt that my life has been quite a long one, full of mixed emotions, which I’ve decided to come and share with you today.

Fue un día que la verdad a mí me dio muchísimo sentimiento, ya que me considero amante de todos los animales y los seres vivos que no tienen voz, y hasta me hizo sentir un poquito mal y quise hacer una reflexión respecto a esto. Saben que hoy cerca de mi trabajo dejaron en una caja una perrita con sus cachorros. Yo la verdad les calculo menos de una semana porque incluso ni siquiera tienen los ojos abiertos, lo cual quiere decir que son bastante pequeños y su mamá está en un estado de desnutrición, por lo que podemos decir que no estaban bien cuidados y la caja fue tirada cerca de mi trabajo; supongo que lo hacen porque, como es un hotel, piensan que iban a tener comida.

It was a day that, to be honest, really tugged at my heartstrings, as I consider myself a lover of all animals and living creatures that have no voice; it even made me feel a bit down, and I wanted to reflect on this. You see, today, near my workplace, someone left a little dog with her puppies in a box. To be honest, I reckon they’re less than a week old because their eyes aren’t even open yet, which means they’re quite small and their mum is malnourished, so we can say they weren’t being looked after properly and the box was dumped near my workplace; I suppose they do this because, as it’s a hotel, they thought they’d get some food there.

Pero la verdad es que es todo lo contrario porque muchas veces o no todos tenemos ese mismo amor por los animales y yo me identifico muchísimo con mi perrita Jade ya que la considero como una hija, y este momento me hizo sentir un poquito sentimental porque son seres que no tienen la culpa y quizás fue solo la historia de una perrita que entró en su celo y no tuvo nadie que la cuidara la cuestión es que gracias a Dios pudimos llevarla cerca del trabajo Y darle un poco de alimento para que pudiera mantener a sus bebés y esperamos que ellos crezcan para poder darlos en adopción. Bien, es una situación bastante sentimental porque estamos hablando de seres vivos que no se pueden descuidar a su suerte y muchas veces no sabemos lo importante que es cuidar a nuestras mascotas y pasan este tipo de cosas que nos hacen sentir supertristes. Para mí fue un día de locos porque nos tocó ver cómo cargábamos con la perrita para poder moverla con sus bebés, ya que aparte estaban en el sol, así que la verdad fue un día un poco triste.

But the truth is that it’s quite the opposite, because often – or perhaps not always – we don’t all share that same love for animals, and I identify very strongly with my dog Jade, as I regard her as a daughter, and this moment made me feel a bit sentimental because they’re creatures who aren’t to blame, and perhaps it was just the story of a little dog who went into heat and had no one to look after her. The thing is, thank God we were able to take her near work and give her a bit of food so she could look after her puppies, and we hope they’ll grow up so we can put them up for adoption. Well, it’s quite a heart-wrenching situation because we’re talking about living creatures that can’t be left to fend for themselves, and often we don’t realise how important it is to look after our pets – and then things like this happen that make us feel absolutely heartbroken. For me, it was a crazy day because we had to carry the dog so we could move her and her puppies, especially as they were out in the sun, so to be honest, it was a rather sad day.
