Misa de agradecimiento con mi sobrina [Esp/Eng]

Hola, ¿qué tal, amigos, cómo están? Por aquí todo bien, gracias a Dios; espero que por allá también y que estén disfrutando de un ombliguito de semana bastante productivo.

Hi there, how’s it going, mates? How are you all? Everything’s fine here, thank God; I hope it’s the same over there and that you’re enjoying a rather productive midweek.

Paso, por acá, a compartir con ustedes un lindo momento que tuvimos hoy en un encuentro con Dios. La verdad, yo no soy mucho de aire de iglesia, pero siempre que voy, no sé por qué, pero me gusta muchísimo. De hecho, no sé por qué me levanté hoy con ganas de ir a la basílica de la Virgen del Valle y desde que me levanté quería ir, pero no sé, fue como cosa mía y dije que tal vez lo colocaría en uno de mis planes. Pero el plan de hoy fue otro debido a que la danza donde está mi sobrina cumplía 4 años del aniversario; se decide hacer un compartir para todos y, de la misma manera, una misa en el agradecimiento, siempre siendo Dios el centro de todas nuestras cosas buenas y malas, y digo malas no porque sea quien las ocasiones, sino porque es el que siempre está con nosotros.

I’m popping in here to share with you a lovely moment we had today during a time of encounter with God. To be honest, I’m not really one for church, but whenever I go, I don’t know why, but I really enjoy it. In fact, I don’t know why I woke up today wanting to go to the Basilica of the Virgin of the Valley; ever since I got up, I’d been wanting to go, but I don’t know, it was just a whim of mine and I thought I might add it to one of my plans. But today’s plan turned out differently because the dance group my niece is in was celebrating its fourth anniversary; they decided to organise a get-together for everyone and, at the same time, a Mass of thanksgiving, with God always at the centre of all our good and bad experiences – and I say ‘bad’ not because He is the one who brings them about, but because He is the one who is always with us.

No es nuestra vista en acción de gracias fue en la iglesia de la fuente, cada representante con su niño en mi caso es mi sobrina, fue bonito y esa iglesia la verdad me gusta mucho porque es diferente su estructura es como redonda y eso me llama muchísimo la atención desde la primera vez que la vi ya que no es una iglesia convencional sino su entorno es redondo y es bastante pequeña,todos colaboraron con su ofrenda y los niños se veían bastante felices, y bueno en mi caso mi sobrina que olvide mencionar esa parte a mi me dan mucha risa sus botas yo siempre le digo que ella usa unas maquinas de guerra porque se ven rusticas y creanme que eso no le importa y vive colocandoselas a cada rato jajajajaja Saludos.

It wasn’t our Thanksgiving service; it was at the Fuente Church, with each representative accompanied by a child – in my case, my niece. It was lovely, and to be honest I really like that church because it’s different: its structure is sort of round, and that really caught my eye from the very first time I saw it, as it isn’t a conventional church – its layout is circular and it’s quite small. Everyone contributed their offering and the children looked really happy, and well, in my case, my niece – I forgot to mention that bit – her boots really make me laugh. I always tell her she’s wearing ‘war machines’ because they look so rugged, and believe me, she doesn’t mind at all and is always putting them on all the time, hahahahaha. Best wishes.
