Un rato de beisbol con mi sobrino [Esp/Eng]

Hola, ¿qué tal, amigos, cómo están? Por aquí todo muy bien, gracias a Dios. Hoy fue un largo día para mí y siento que, la verdad, el sol lo tengo superen la cara por todo lo que hice hoy, pero bueno, aquí estamos compartiendo un rato como todos los días.

Yo, la verdad, ansiosa por pasar por aquí a comentarle. Como saben que ando de vacaciones, ando haciendo mi historia de la universidad, pero también compartiendo con mi sobrino, y ayer, casualmente, tenía un juego de béisbol. Bueno, realmente mi sobrino no tiene mucho tiempo practicando, pero considero que es muy bueno. A pesar de todo eso, lo hace muy bien, así que tocó ir a apoyarlo.

Hello, how are you all, friends? Everything’s going very well here, thank goodness. Today was a long day for me and, to be honest, I’m absolutely knackered from everything I’ve done, but anyway, here we are spending a bit of time together, just like every day.

To be honest, I’ve been eager to pop in here and have a chat. As you know, I’m on holiday, so I’m working on my university project, but I’m also spending time with my nephew, and yesterday, as it happened, he had a baseball match. Well, my nephew hasn’t been practising for very long, but I think he’s very good. Despite all that, he’s doing really well, so I had to go and support him.

Que sí, no me gustó que fuimos al campito, y estaba haciendo superbrisa y de verdad que la tierra nos pegaba en la cara y por todo el cuerpo y llegué a mi casa superllena de tierra, como si hubiera estado durmiendo en ella y, aparte de todo, a pesar de estar en la sombra, llegué como si hubiera pasado una semana en la playa, literalmente con la ropa marcada por todo el cuerpo.

El juego, la verdad, estuvo bastante emocionante y la parte más emocionante de todas fue un momento en el que le tocó a mi sobrino ser pitcher. ¿Y por qué digo que es emocionante? Lo digo porque mi sobrino no está preparado para esa responsabilidad, de hecho. Nunca lo colocan a eso, pero se dio la ocasión porque no tenían otra persona. Y fue un juego bastante rudo, pero gracias a Dios supo llevarlo adelante y cuando terminó se puso a llorar; me dio mucha lástima, pero yo, la verdad, que irte como una loca al otro día no podía ni hablar porque estaba superemocionada con todo esto que estaba pasando; la verdad es que es bastante bien compartir con nuestros sobrinos. ¡Saludos!

Well, I didn’t like the fact that we went to the little field, and there was a really strong breeze, and the dirt was literally hitting us in the face and all over our bodies, and I got home absolutely covered in dirt, as if I’d been sleeping in it; and on top of everything else, even though we were in the shade, I felt as if I’d spent a week at the beach, with my clothes literally stained all over my body.

The game, to be honest, was quite exciting, and the most exciting part of all was when it was my nephew’s turn to be the pitcher. And why do I say it’s exciting? I say it because my nephew isn’t actually ready for that responsibility. They never put him in that position, but the opportunity arose because they didn’t have anyone else. It was quite a tough game, but thank goodness he managed to pull it off, and when it was over he started crying; I felt really sorry for him, but to be honest, I was so overwhelmed the next day I couldn’t even speak because I was so excited by everything that was happening; the truth is, it’s really lovely spending time with our nephews.
