Travelling as always been part of my hobby, I just love adventure anything that gears me towards that exciting moment of breathing fresh air, sight seeing, I just love to explore, go some where far from my hood to a different place, a new place mixed with different lifestyle, people, culture and the their unique ways of life, mixing with them learning their own ways and means of survival, trying to adapt and feel among, that's why I'm a traveller and a long distance one too.

In several of my journeys I've seen people doze off sometimes moments after the bus drives out and I'm wondering at them, like do they even know what they are missing, I rarely sleep during transit, the reason is that one of the fun part why I love travelling is SIGHT SEEING my favorite spot as always been close to the window were I can Clearly pop my eyes through the windows watching the landscape rise and fall, buildings and busy people going about their daily lives, most times I can't stop but wonder about their lives for a moment trying to sale one thing or another hawking in traffic and chasing cars with all their strength just to sale a thing, some of them will just push those item through the window as if to puffed them up your mouth so you buy from them 😂, and sometimes I just feel pity for them like I should just buy the whole thing and tell them to go home

Recently I was traveling from Port Harcourt To Uyo and the moment we got to Aba, just about to enter Akwa Ibom state, just after one of the local check point several of these hawkers rushed to our bus as if anyone called them, young children selling fruits and soft drinks, stick meat, bread and many other stuffs pushing it through the window so we could buy, then I spotted an elderly woman, selling fruits I felt pity for her but I was full so I didn't buy anything, I just thought to myself if you follow these guys you would literally spend all your cash in things you don't want.

My Travelling frenzy actually started when I got admitted into the university, so I had liberty to travel most of the time during holidays, I grew up in Port Harcourt, but I would often travel down to the interior part of cross rivers were my granny, my aunt and my brother stays, it's a long journey that span up-to about 5-6 hours depending on how good the driver is, it's usually a bompy ride due to the poor state of the roads, however it's always adventurous to me tho 😂

I recall during my second and third year when the strike thing was very heavy then, I would often travel down to cross river to spend time with my people, so one these times initially we were told a three months warning strike that would be called off even before then, so I parked litely, just few of my personal stuffs, but after the first and second months, the news wasn't pleasant so it was now extended to an indefinite industrial action till further notice, by then I was just repeating the few cloths I parked, I finally stayed up to five months, before planning on returning to Port Harcourt since the strike wasn't about to be called off anytime soon.

I knew I was in for a longer journey, however that didn't bother me, I even loved longer journey that means more time on the road, watching the different landscape, people and buildings 😂...so from cross river state we Journeyed down to Akwa ibom state and from there we were headed to river state, I totally lost track of time, listened to all the songs on my playlist, played all the games I had, I was tired, what now huh? 🙆 just seat tithe looking out of the windows.

Sometimes from Akwa Ibom state to Rivers state on average is about 4-5 hours, so moving from cross river state down to port Harcourt is like a journey of the entire day, I touched down in port Harcourt around 9pm that day......

Before now I usually pack heavy when travelling but most times I don't end up staying too long and it all seems I'm just moving around with too much luggage with stuffs I don't end up using, however I was disappointed this time and I had to start getting some additional things there, later on when the strike was called off I had to return to Akwa Ibom state, Uyo were I was running a B.Sc degree program in the prestigious university of uyo, Akwa Ibom state, Nigeria.....

Thanks All for having me
Yours' truly

Cross river to Rivers shouldn't be so long a journey. It's just that traffic and other factors make the trip really long.

As for those sellers, truly, if you begin to consider their ages(especially really young children and the elderly), you will spend all you have. Me, I just plug in my ear phone and face my front😀
