SHE YELLED AT ME 😠: Was It My Fault?

Hello my Nija Brothers and sisters....and everyone in here, Happy New Month of April and I'm excited to see a new dawn a fresh start of the Q2 of the year 2024, in case you haven't given that a much thought, here's a soft reminder, you need to revisit all those new year resolutions and prospects and great plans and goals, target that you wrote down three months ago, for those in the corporate world or running a business, personally or as an agent you should understand the significance of starting the second quarter of the fiscal year, lots of reviews will have to be done strategic readjustment to realign with the initial plans for the year....

Okay enough of that ...I'm really sorry that I have to drag you this far, with my problems, anyways without further or due let's delve into this week's prompt...

"CALLING OUT"

SO This faithful day I woke up so early went to work, and I have it all planned out in my head the things I'm suppose to do before the opening time,

Okay so I worked in an eatery as a pastry chef, this means a lot cause I literally have to make productions of everything we sale and there's a lot to make ready before the opening time which 7:30...and my MD is a no nonsense person when it comes to her business, you can do anything but let it not affect her products or her business in anyway, we all knew this and everyone of her staffs tries to stay off her yelling rampage 😂

So on this Day got up early, got to work early to begin my usual routine but when I got to the entrance the gate was still locked, I stayed up like an hour later before the person with the keys arrived by now, I have lost an hour of production, that's a lot, I was really behind time, even when I tried everything possible to catch up it was too late..

Then it was like a bombshell exploding on me, My MD came early that day too, by 8am non of my products were ready this is unlike me, but she doesn't care about that, it is about now...

She burst in ...BOSS LADY MOOD ACTIVATED!!!

"WHY IS THERE NOTHING IN FRONT, WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN DOING, I Replied MA meat pie is in the oven I'm trying to do chicken pie, Dough for DOUGHTNUT and burger bread is still in the mixer , she yieled at me even more, WHAT NONSENSE SINCE MORNING and nothing is out, what rubbish have you been doing...infact I'm going to surcharge you for this negligence

All this while she has been yeiling at me I refuse to tell her it wasn't my fault, I came early but the person with the keys came very late which had affected my productions, now we have this code within us... Not to say or involve in anything when MD is talking to anybody... I knew if I told her that it wasn't me but the other person cause it affected everybody too, I tried my best... But she kept saying things provoking, saying all manner of things I was so upset I had to blurt it out and told her it was because the person who was with the key came very late,

Instantly she turned her anger at the other person, yeiling even more threatening subcharging her too, I was like, why should I take all the blame on me, when it wasn't my fault to start with, although I never wanted to let the Cat out of the bag, to hang the cross on her I knew it was a mistake too on her path, she doesn't show up to work late, so we all understood that maybe something had delayed her at home or on the road...

But here I was been shouted at, for wrongs I didn't do and my salary was going to be affected by it, I still felt sorry at the other person.... I don't know if it was okay what do you think I should have done better... Do well to let me in, on your thought comment section below
