May the peace of the Lord be with us all Amen.

Todays teachings Brother Eli thought us about making vows and also made us understand that given it must be done voluntarily.
Brother Eli also made us understand that a vow is a solemn promise or assertion specifically, by which a person is bond to an act service or condition. This simply means that a vow is the promise we make unto God.

Important of vow

Brother Eli made us understand that God does not neglect the vows we make to him for example we are believing God for a healing miracle or something else we should make a vow and expect our answers. He made us understand the God cherish our vows so much that he is very angry with us if we break our vows he said it is better we don't even make a vow than we do and can not fulfilling it, it is a sin onto God.

Vows is a voluntary act.
We should always keep our vows to God when we make one. Numbers 30:2. In the true church of God, we can vow to stay away from sin and make sure we fulfill our vows to God for there's no pleasure in falsehood; Ecclesiastes 5:4. The best way to get things from God is to make vows and abide to our vows.
Psalm 116:17,
St. Paul shaved his hair in honor to his vow to the Lord. Acts 18:18.
David offered thanksgiving in the presence of the people. Thanksgiving is a vow, God didn't command us to do such but we do it to show appreciation to the good works God has done for us. Thanksgiving are sacrifice of praise which we offer to the Lord and which the Lord asks us to do continually, Hebrews 13:15-16.

The teaching of the Lord's table taught me to be a partaker of only the Lord's table and not the devil's. Many tables are filled with vomit and filthiness as described by brother Eli. He Told us not to be like people who returns to their evil ways, just like a dog that returns to it's vomit. Isaiah 28:10-13 & 8, Luke 22:27, I Corinthians 10:22.

Giving

I understand that we must give willingly and also we must learn to keep to our vows the bible is telling us of Ananias and his wife that made a vow and broke the vow by lying about the amount the sold thier land and the bible recorded that God stroke them dead. Act 5:1
God loves a cheerful giver. This means giving is according to the decisions of our hearts, 2 Corinthians 9:7. Tithes, according to brother Eli, he said is not a commandment of our time. The act of giving should not be made a necessity nor done grudgingly. In 2 Corinthians 8:3, St. Paul made us understand that the Macedonians gave on their own Accord. This means that donations has no fixed price and is entirely determined by the giver.

I also learnt the principle of give bro Eli made us understand the we must give according to what has been decided in our heart not been false to do so so that we can receive the rewards attached to a cheerful given heart.

Thanks be to God for listening on our meeting.

MCGI Cares (Hive) community's main mission is to share the words of God, not the Hive upvotes. If we get upvotes, please treat it as just a bonus. Do not focus mainly on material things as the bible is teaching us not to look at things seen but rather focus our eyes on things not seen.

II CORINTHIANS 4:18
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
